I actually have some clips of skylines in japan doing this test. Its absolutely amazing. The veilside R32 GTR gets to 300km/h in 13.72 seconds and thats even with a mistake changing from 2nd to 3rd gear!!! :uh-huh: . I got them from www.exvitermini.com quiet a while ago. Not sure whether they are still on the site but its worth a look!

Is this possible? Ive heard the RB20DET's arent know for their huge power outputs. If this is possible and someone has achieved it could you please let us know what setup you've used or if you know of a setup possible to get these sorta times. Would it be a better option to put in a RB25DET and go from there? Cheers Chris

Are there many modifications that need to be made for it to bolt on to an RB20? Other than the snout that i read on this thread, example ecu, injectors, intercooler etc etc. What sort of boost is this turbo capable of running? Im very interested

Please Tell me you havent given the gaurds away for nothing Im in desperate need of them if you are talking about the gaurds that sit over the front wheels. If you have given them away i am willing to buy the passenger side front gaurd of the guy that bought them. The Re-Built RB25DET...How many K's has this travelled before the rebuild? And if its only the engine itself. What else would be needed to get it running, eg. loom etc and how much for those parts.

I have a feeling i know which tuner your talking about too. Cause they told me the same thing. I used to have the same problem, the tuner changed the plugs to a v-Spark plug or something along those lines, but the plugs didnt last all that long. I have just changed my plugs to irridiums and its started again, and im only running 10psi Mine only seems to do it after abit of a drive on the freeway tho. If i punch it while on the street its sweet but drive bout a half hour on the freeway, then decide to give it a squirt it'll constantly misfire. I'm actually in the process of sorting this problem out with the mech that put the new plugs in. When he finds a solution i'll let ya know

Congrats 25t. It'll be nice to see some figures as im looking to do a budget conversion aswell....not too budget but that all depends on how much i sell the calais for You were saying that the bonnet just closed, how would this conversion go with a R32 then? Are the engine bays different size?

hehe I'm not actually building this car as a ongoing project and i'm not disputing the fact that the calais'are heavy and the rest of it. I'm doin this to get abit more money out of the SALE of the calais because the original motor in it is pretty much dead. I have a RB20DET R32 as a daily driver and want more power so why not use the block from the RB30 calais for the RB30DET conversion into the R32. That would leave the calais without a motor and a RB20DET engine in the garage. Since 5 speed manual turbo calais'are pretty scarce around here i thought the conversion would be the perfect thing to do rather than selling the front cut by itself I just thought i'd let u guys know this to clear the air. This wont be my project car but am still wondering whether the conversion is difficult or not. Cheers

Nah....i also have a R32 and im wanting to use the RB30 Block from the VL for my RB30DET conversion into the 32 I was thinking of putting the RB20DET into the VL for a better sale Cheers

What are you chasing for the struts? And this may sound abit stupid but Do both the struts have to be the same? I just banged up my L/H rear strut Cheers
