  1. good to hesr it was fixed so easily...
  2. i agree heaps of wd40... when removing the bolts, if it doesn't "feel" right stop!!! then spray heaps more wd40... i sprayed them 4-5 times leaving 1/2 - 1 hour in between before i even attempted to remove them... they came off very easily...
  3. yeah i'm happy with mine... it all depends on what you want to do with your car... if you want to put a bigger turbo in get a power FC... if you don't want to then the SAFC will suffice... i said i wasn't going to upgrade the turbo so i put one in, but now i am going a bigger turbo i have a pfc coming, i would not call the SAFC a waste though...
  4. happy birthday james...
  5. i use remote start to warn it up... to warm down i take the radio face off and put the steering lock in place, then let the timer do the rest...
  6. nuffsaid, was there a torque increase?
  7. i have a fujitsubo power getter and it's great... great construction and sounds awesome... although some people think it's too loud... from what i hear the blitz nur is loud also...

congrats hehe another sucker... lol oh well only 3 1/2 till my wedding!!
  9. i use it... but i can't compare it to anything as i have been using it the whole time i've had the car... i'm not sure about the type either (apart from the fact it is fully synthetic), i just leave it to my mechanic...
  10. if you changed your dump pipe, check the o2 sensor is correctly installed...
  11. i had a lot of squeaks coming from my belt... it turned out to be a small leak in the water pump that was making the belt squeal... i replaced the pump and the problem went... check for coolant leaks...
  12. i agree... i got my car from carizma...
  13. i normally use EKW
  14. do your water pump!!! i didn't do it for my 100,000k service only to find 6,000 later that it was shagged... paul, the water pump circulates corrosive liquid so the seals tend to die at about 100k oil pumps don't corrode parts like coolant does...
  15. i have a seperate dump and front and the difference was awesome... i think anything is better then the stock pipes... my dump is an HKS, the front pipe is a blitz... oh yeah a high flow cat is also needed imho...
  16. my temp sensor was welded to the cat for complience, when i replaced the cat i just cut the sensor... the dash light did not come on when i did this...
  17. you will need to get it dyno tuned... i can't remeber how much it cost me to do though...
  18. you still need to take the plastic cover off to get the metal ring that holds the hand brake boot in place...
  19. not too sure, as al or babia on the forums as they have both had their front bars plastic welded (al's is the car you posted)...
  20. you need to go to a plastic welder... they can cut and then smooth out the plastic...
  21. under the plastic cover (take the ashtray out, remove the 2 screws then removed the plastic section where the gear shifter is. this reveals 2 more screws, remove them. Then open your center console between the seats and you will find two more screws at the bottom, remove them. it should then come off revealing the hand brake assembly) there are 2 bolts that hold the handle down just unbolt em...
  22. mine is quite loud even with the stock airbox (K&N filter though)... i don't have the snorkel on either which might make it louder... but i like the sound...
