there is no comparison the V36 in VQ37HR form is VERY quick. HSV quick if not quicker.

XTC, yep customer car.(not mine I own a R32.) theres more to come with it. I have a bit more work to do on it audio wise. to my understanding it is getting a kit and wheels as well.

from a buyers perspective - yes it is. to build one of those boxes properly with new bits woudl exceed $2k. now slap that onto you figurative $7k price tag and you have a $5k car IF you are lucky. the distance doesn't help either. to give you an idea I have $3k of trim bits for mine and that is something I will not get back when I sell it (I own a GTS4 coupe) nor will I get the RB25 swap back. I paid next to nix for the car so I'm not losing out too badly. point being here if it was a clean runner with no faults then you could probably get more for it - given its broken expect a penalty from a prospective buyer.

I wont say what I paid for mine but given the car is 'broken' - 5-6k is all I would pay for it.

if soome can find me a place to host a 30gb image I'll unlock and image the CKV36 I have here. then we can play. looking at it from teh outside there is a boot loader on the CPU and the rest is HDD based. I figure there are enough people on here that are IT based and smart enough to pull this thing apart. I can do hardware but I'm not the best with software.

I'll leave the towbar off last two car I have owned had it and both had tear marks where someone had tried to pull too much with the car. white GTT, you have got it in one. mine is manual and staying that way. shan, rust - thats a given on any car of this age. part of the reason I'm doing panels.

FYI - rear diff cooler:

I had a RWD car inthe USA. the thing liked to swap ends too much. after having a mates 33 for a few days it too liked to swap ends when booted off the line. I have always had 4wd cars since I came out here.to me they are bit more fun and a bit more stable. as for buying a GTS4 - it was on offer from one of the club members for a silly price so I bought it and I'm going to spend some moeny tidying it up. if you remember the wagon I have this will be sort of the same idea. buy a wreck - build it and drive the thing. I got my parts list back today from nissan and 99% of it came back as available so thats a good sign for nissan. I did the same with my subaru and had about half come back (subaru is an 88 btw this is an 89.) its still sitting up north at the moment as I have not had time to move it. choice of engine was some what of a forced choice. I can't put a RB20 back in as the original pretty much toast (twice!) so it progesses to a RB25 and a bit of boost. first thing to do it fix the body and source a GTR front end for it. that will fix up the hacked mess of the front mount and make the thing look a bit better. one thing I am going to do are a few oil coolers! digging through FAST I found that there was an option for a rear diff cooler. the trans cooler is also an idea but I have to find someone whose done it. oil coolers Ican do myself. if someone has a GTR triple gauge unit they wish to part with shoot me a PM. I have a rather neat idea in mind for them.

these cars are consult 2 (J1850) based. C3 is for the later cars. jetwreck, two words -launch diagun (for those reading along toss that into google.)

jay , you would be better doing this locally. shipping on that piece will kill it. mighty, I do not have it. customer of mine grabbed the entire panel. have another on the way.
