  1. Free (which is most certainly is not.)
  2. tis fine. wife had a hissy. I'm coming. tony, I'll grab you from indro, call me at the shop - NOW!
  3. had a read of that. some of it looks to be made from unobtainium..
  4. I'm out. familly matters.
  5. nope! Bezerk, looks like yours was in the rear quarters. did you have the factory bodykit in that area?
  6. triple gauge cluster and AC controller?
  7. yep you are correct. OP is in victoria as well. I modifed the V35 FAQ a bit on this as there were too many people asking me to fix the keys down there. I can source keys all day long - itis up to the buyer to have the keycodes and a way to progarm them.
  8. this is the original ECU meant for (and came with) this car? I dare say the factory immobiliser is playing silly buggers with you. my understanding of a PFC is that it does not have this option inbuilt so the car will run fine.
  9. +1!!
  10. rust: rear wheel wells inside car forward of seats in sills. happens when the car is jacked up wrong- fix is new sills in/out affects BOTH sides C Pillar towards rear of car where glass meets body - BOTH SIDES rear panel under tail lights and licence plate area - more so if its had a tap. chassis rails - especially if they are crushed. Roof around sunroof area thats most of mine. the minor rust can be cut out and fixed - any competent panel shop can do that with a grinder and brass. the major stuff - new parts.
  11. do you own a multimeter?
  12. my 32 sits flush.
  13. ok: fuse cover in engine bay-> readable-> $? battery hold down clamp -$? A/C controller - $50 I'll pick it up as long as it lights up and works. rear licence plate holder -$? Front bar - condition - cut up or still stock. wnat stock with no damage.
  14. can you measure the glass for me from the body opening please. I want to see if its the same as mine in my R32. if so you may have a buyer. also condition of rubber seals arounf the top. does it open/close easily? no grinding?
  15. I can organise pickup from you easy enough. do you have pics of these - detailed images of the damaged one please.
  16. ECU and harness - complete and uncut?
  17. the last tommy 33 I had was a sedan - it HAD a chassis number on it. I think yours has something amiss. in short - run far far away.
  18. ring this guy. he does a few PI cars. craig 3881-1800 - mention me.
  19. ok I just had the panel guys out. I must be overly cautious. most of what I deemed not fixable he laughed at and said easy! so I have to buy two pieces new on the whole car. rest of it is straight as I was told. anyone know where I can find a RB 4wd adapter plate . considering a *modified* VL motor (blames Marc R for the idea..)
  20. yep! and for me thats what a business is for (wealth creation bit.) I own all my cars and try not to buy new ones unless I have to - my shop van included.
  21. yep - keeper. I worked out what needs replacing panel wise - checked - price ok- yep lets do it. fyi you can buy the rear panel work for less than $3k new less ancillaries. most of it is LOCAL! (yes that surprised me as well.) one thing is for certain - the used import market probably wont pay what I'd want for it when done and I want my daughter to have a toy when she learns to drive in 14 yrs time. (similar story to the fellow here in brissy with the GTR.)
  22. if you can or one similar to it. I'm not one for flash stereos in my own cars. (I have a corolla for that.)
  23. thanks for that. I'm on fairly good terms with norris (metro windsor) myself. I think you are the reason most of this stuff is ex MLB. I have been on the phone today chasing panels and 90% of it was local! I'll have a chat with the people that did your suspension as they are on my side of town and since you mentioned they painted the front end of yours I'll get them to do the same with mine.
  24. shan, true, I have my fair share of things like this to my name, time is something I do not have a lot of nowadays. most of this will be handed out (the panel work will be.) unitl I get it to a point where I can do the stuff I'm capable of. (minor mechanical and the electrical system.) My Wurth rep is going to love me. he seems to be the only source of nissan grey ties I can find.
