  1. OEM screen can remain. if you want video though you are locked to a JVC unit. ou need a few odds/ends to complete the job and I keep most of it in stock.
  2. suits me. two of my major suppliers work in $USD.
  3. you have the same background as me - knock your self out john, call first - I'm not always here.
  4. call me when you get a sec. there's more than you think. as for gadgets - we'll see. I actaually want yuor old mans radio out of his 4wd if he still has it.
  5. well considering EVERY thing is available for it, I figure in 3-4 years it will be a nice car to hand to my daughter when she learns to drive. I know full and well that I'll spend 10 times what I paid for it. (those that know me and know WHAT I paid for it - keep quiet.) only change I'm making is the engine. due to age the RB20 is going in favour of a RB25. factory color remains the same (red.) I'm going to put a build thread up similar to the other brisbane based fellow with his GTR when I get a second. I have already started catalogging things into bags.
  6. Brand: Nissan Skyline R32 Gtst Size: 16x6½ +40 Condition: GC Tyres: Bridgestone Grid II 205/55/16 Tyre Cond: 4mm front 5mm Rear $250 ------------ I'll come past and look at these.
  7. make up new panels (inside door) and they will fit fine.
  8. ok finally have this thing at my shop. over teh next week and a bit I'm going to start pulling it to bits and fixing things. decided that I may be a 'lil bit' mad as I'm probably going to restore it.
  9. deren, just read 20+ pages of this. about to start on a 32 gts4. who did your spray work? did they do any panel(main body) replacement? mine has rust in a few places. I left you a message (two phone calls.) when you get time give me a call back. I would like to chat with you about your build and who your nissan delaer was that supplied the bits. ta!
  10. Something on my car broke - how can I find Chris or get it fixed FINDING ME: this is for the newbies that get 10 forum posts up and send me a PM with question regarding broken things - keys especially! Short answer - My phone number is in my signature - call it - I do not bite. Second - think before you do call - 99% of the time I NEED THE CAR to do anything programming related. so if you are in a city OTHER than Brisbane I CANNOT HELP YOU! I CAN sell you electrical parts. it is up to you to get them fitted. (unless you are in brisbane then I'll do it.) GETTING THINGS FIXED: weirdly enough you drive a nissan - imported or not a nissan dealer can help you if you are polite enough to them. the parts prices may scare you but thats what things cost on these cars when they break. if one dealer will not help there will be one in your city that will - have a dig on the forums for more information. there are 3-4 in brisbane that will get parts for you and several workshops that will service and repair your car. agan search before sending a PM.
  11. where are you? intersted in braces.
  12. panel around cluster - still available?
  13. drop it in boronia then. I'll freight it from there.
  14. R32 bumper and fogs postage to 4006? happy to pay asking price.
  15. I can't comment on the car - too many public people read this forum
  16. think the bonnet and lights have to swap as well. I know the front is a bit more 'square' on a S2.
  17. its the easiset way to tackle it. the first car I came across like that was a 32gtr and it had me baffled why I could not open the boot. later worked out that the only key that this fellow had was the valet one.
  18. yep see that one a couple of times. +1 on insurance question. think being that car will be in bits VERY quickly I'd figure.
  19. take the boot lock out and take it to a locksmith. tell them you need a key cut for it. that will also fix the glovebox lock as well.
  20. look at the post count I say delete myself.
  21. easy - I fix the thing with another pop up screen - and of course - SEARCH!
  22. peel out the left rear corner on the boot. the TV tuner is in between the outside body and the frame support. you will see what I mean when you do it.
  23. believe me I got PLENTY of looks when I dragged that into my workshop ( I share the building I'm in.) doors are a bit low for my liking though.
