depends. I did two versions. one of them let you drive the thing off the steering wheel. no SWC unit - no problems - I'll sell you that as well. tape solution works to a point. I would prefer to have my eyes on the road rather than fiddle with the ipod.

is your mate brett,scott,garth ,warren or alan? before you ask questions on here how about going back to shop in question (if it was fitted there on the books) and explain you are not happy. yes I know who you are referring to and the shop in question. have seen a gry R34 sitting outside that shop a few times now. if that is you then I know the car in question. regarding the focal items: they DO need break in time. as for the immobiliser - no idea. could tell you more if I saw it.

the later G35 WAS lit. the button set was different and had a lighting feed INTO the column. they light up green. in that case he swapped them out for the later items. nothing new there. and to be honest - not worth it. the lights are fairly dull in comparison to the dash lighting. I CAN get those switches but they are TWICE as expensive as the ones I currently use.

good to see you got it all in. beatsonic piece works a lot better than the hack attempt of the metra item. standard issue from me when you buy the full kit.

quite familair with tis. brian started this with an idea I passed along. I know what he uses to do it and its a $2k retail exercise. the OEM system remains intact. touchup guys are the go. use them on bumps/nicks. talk to them first as they are franchised.

OE fitted unit is ECU based. the one I do will set at what ever speed you are game to do

ecu pinout is the same as a G35. body harness changes though.

Ceffy, VQ25DD. to my knowledge there wasn't a turbon fitted to these cars.

not too bad for a home job. do agree with weight though. I see a kicker prefab box in there as well. is the box the correct size for that woofer. the rear shelf I can see working (with a lot of bog and sanding.) but a flat one would suffice IMO. what did you do up front?

looks ok if its set up properly. if its not then it will be a waste. why alpine. there are better speakers out there for that kind of money. rainbow being one of them.
