GPS co'ords are coded into the software licence. stops us pirating and also keeps things in our respective areas.
your question relies on the depth of your pocket.. one I'm doing now the fellow gave me $3.1K to swap it all out and put a navi based radio in. do a bit of a dig. there's more to it that simply buying a radio.

get one and havea fiddle. the F900 is a bit slow on bootup and the BT side of it gets fussy, streaming audio - never really tried. I do know that is doesn't like samsung phones. (then again not much does.)

there's not really such a thing. you will find that 90% of the shops you vist won't really give a rats when they sell you the thing and the installers won't either.
when doing an alarm it is the install that is the most important bit.
