what price point?

amplified antenna - $40 or so. sticks inside the rear window. should be able to get them at most audio shops. if you can't find one flick me a PM.

are you nuts!!! you use a broker to help you import the vehicle you found in japan but have not a clue how to bring it in here. if you are thinking the above - go see a car yard. they may or may not offer that service but its then up to you if you buy a car from them. food for thought.

why bother. if you are going to cheap out then you are only screwing yourself. that said there are people in the sydney market charging $110/hr and dont have a clue.. food for thought.

got a ticket in it yet? as for S2 vs S3 differences: S3: factory bluetooth HF phone - works well as we saw that night. revised menus in the navi/info system lights front and rear. electricals - different internally. cutoff was 05/12 for the build dates I have to admit that last friday was quite interesting from where we started to where we ended up. looking at a black manual then a balck auto then the red car. actually when are we doing the rest of it? was being hte operative word (I was working on 7 hours of sleep when I did that one.) for some reason I lost a screen colour and couldn't work out why. yes it was that car.

rianto, not an issue I figure I can get around the input issue. BT can do that as well give me a call/email on tues when I get back.

button under dash is a video bypass. if the navi sstem works then the open button will work. if it does not then there is no easy way to use that screen.

you haven't missed me I'm still here, but I cannot get into the workshop I use here. the neighbor has a LOT of crap parked in front of the main entry. that said - yes I can do it BUT I will only do it IF you have the OEM items and not a retro fit kit. as for the drivers lock - as I said earlier in the week - I CANNOT turn around a part ex japan that quick. I ordered 3 left side actuators and not a right side one.

if they are the dealer fitted ones then find where they tapped them in and stick a switch on it.

yep thats exactly what he does. give him a few weeks to get situated as well. he's trying to get his family and kids into school then bug him
