  1. left side is radio controls - perfect if you have a ARX or V35 without them. rt side - cruise buttons. swing past I'll show you a set as all of mine arrived today (finally!)
  2. me? if you are referring to the image I posted up of the cruise buttons on the wheel that was for a M35. never tried to fit that wheel on a C34. the image showed that the OEM style cruise was possible on that car.
  3. spotted ZFAS7 on the M1 at mains rd exit. don't think you saw me though.
  4. find the plug first. there's a +12 , +12 swtiched and two other wires on it . one of those will be speed.
  5. up to you really. hte last car I imported from NZ I did myself. that said I did fly over and inspect it first and sorted it with the owner first. then I rang canberra sorted the approval, rang a local customs broker to collect the car in ashburton, got it shipped to me in brissy. paid all the fees to the broker and collected the car from the docks. I'm about to do it again shortly with another Subaru RX II. one point to note mine are 15 yr + cars the rules for you should be the same as the brokers in NZ have connections here so they can sort the moving side of it. RORO is cheaper to do . mine was $1700 in shipping roughly and the customs/tax/tarrif/cleaning fees about the same. pull any expensive stuff out of it. things do go missing on docks. most of the RAWS will do personal imports - best to ring a few if you are not comfortable doing this yourself.
  6. nope! unit has to be pulled. I'm going to bring a few mechs with me when I come down so I can pull yours and unplug it if you need that done.
  7. there's a 4 pin harness up high behind the hazard lights - use that.
  8. I'm coming dwon in a few weeks (aug 2nd.) you sound like you need a new motor and lock assy. about $1k for both items. its a common fault on these cars.
  9. run it past here if you want it done properly. (see sig.) if you want it half assed take it where ever.
  10. unsure. dpends on timing - at this stage - no.
  11. Stuart(limitless) , you and I need to talk.call me during the day.
  12. BOOKED CARS: THER VE35GT
  13. LINK full drive by wire system.
  14. find a 5ch one - issue solved. for $500 you are going ot be hard pressed unless it's second hand. would troll the audio forums and see what yo ucan grab. my preference would be the newer fosgate range as those have enough balls to run whatever you put in front of them. I have a 200.2 and a 300.1 on a full rainbow setup and that does very wel SQ wise.
  15. human nature. same as the things I do with these cars and people bitch about price. be lucky its not a CKV36. at $6k a pop for the navi units $1-200 is chicken feed.
  16. may want to check depth on that idea.
  17. reset the limit switches. put the windown down and hold the button for 10-15 sec and then do the same withup. if that doesn't fix it yell at the repairer
  18. shiraz, which autobarn are you?
  19. if you have the 6 speaker rear setup then its the amplifier plug. get me a clearer shot of the plug front and back and I'll tell you.
  20. where are you out of curiosity?
  21. ok the planned workshop run is on! AUG 3-7 2009 - REVESBY. you will be contacted with the exact address on/before the day. bookings require a 40% deposit on your job which can be paid via BANK DEPOSIT OR C/Card. I'm doing it this way to cover my costs. so far I have two CONFIRMED bookings that cover my trip down. I have room for 10 more cars. for those that have asked for more details - shoot me a message or CALL ME! I'll be doing: TV,ipod (audio only), cruise, alarms, minor electrical and parts repairs (locks,windows.). for those with OEM audio issues I can do them whilst I'm there but I NEED to know what EXACTLY is wrong with it BEFORE YOU BOOK . I'll supply the gear - you supply the car -easy (thanks to VE35GT for the confirmed booking.)
  22. done. pm for prices if you are going to commit.
  23. few years back I found a live japanese credit card inside a drivers door on a 33. its a novelty now and sits on my desk.
