  2. not really. the OEM analog did that and its still not a perfect solution. as for your reception I'm going to check that when I get the car.
  3. have somethng on the way need to do a bit of fiddling. ------- JDM - not a true solution. I can do the same thing to the JDM as the ADM ones I do. to do it properly would be a full swap.
  4. for 100% reception - stay in one place or stay at home. there are too any variables for 100% reliable reception

F0 = mech jammed. as a last resort = pull battery, wait, reconnect. wait for the unit to start up and press eject. if it spits the disc out - great. if not pull the unit and send it to me. have $650 handy. the F3 error - in your case - spindle motor is dying. no spin = no data = F3. theres a variety of things that cause F3. F0 , switches,guides, gears. most of these mechs are a writeoff when they jam. the whole thing tends to destroy itself.

  7. 1. recieve - yes. process into useable audio - nope. 2. nope. dedicated radio. have yet to really look into it as brisbane already has it but the reception is crap. the current units are portable table radios.

  9. theres a differene between twin antenna and twin tuner. the ones I use are twin tuner. Rianto that is what yours is. Sams (scorp) is the same. antennas were not done by me. twin antenna - just that. two antennas feeding one tuner. twn tuner - takes both antennas into a tuner each - averages the signal and uses the best signal at the time. as for chook. he's no longer doing them. I've considered it but MOQ kills it. part of the reason he got out. FYI that tuner is used by GME for marine applications and it has been sealed acocordingly. I can get those as I have an account with GME fr those. cost - relative to what you think its worth

I do. that said hat exactly are you trying to do? if its pull the radio then the poor mans version will be on installdr.com. its the later model plugs and they do give the pinouts on that site.the colours WILL NOT match but the pinout will. if you have $15 buy an adapting lead from autobarn and match the colours. you will have sound albiet entirely too much at once but it will work. forget about the bose amp side of things. you have already said that you do not have the $$ to get the proper lead. theres a pinout for the OEM amp in the 2003 FSM that is close. I'm not too sure how technical you are but there s another way to tackle this but it invloves a lot of chasing and cuttng.

  14. up to you. the video in on a 35 has limitations. picture looks a LOT better with RGB applied to it. I use the GVN53 when I do the 35s. though I use a slightly different version. if you buy a CKV36 then the full swap is the BEST way to tackle it.
  15. white hilux ute with a work canopy on the back totally unmarked only giveaway is the two led lights on the rear of the alloy tray. spotted that one a few days back in wavell heights.
  16. +1! as I said to you o the phoe, not fan of the cvt for that reason alone. great to drive when they work expensive to fix (12k) when they break. luck we diid have the cruise control fitted to it.
  17. to answer your distance question. clocks probably have been swapped,carpet changed and you would be none the wiser. for distance/engine life: its a nissan . it will run for quite a while yet. if it worries you stick the car on ebay and buy another. fiixing you problem properly , rebuild of the top end.
  18. part numbers help. when I'm buying buttons the call to him is easily 30 minutes. with the part numbers ita a 10 minute call. I don't bother with email. takes 2-3 days to get a reply. prefer to deal with nissan japan. 2hr turn around on email and I can usually get straight onto who I need.
  19. if you have a faulty amplifer then the draw will be 0.750 A or more. .02 A will be the radio/ECU backup. thats not enough to kill anything.

  23. not my ball f wax. if you want a refit done - sure.
  24. michelle, since the forum had a dummy spit. if yours works grab the second AV input in the boot and feed a NTSC video signal into it. that will give you video in. if you have yanked the OEM tape then it will dispaly video without switching the audio out (which it does by default with the OEM unit.) if you feel like it give me a call.
