  1. no I mean ALL the accessories off and this includes unplugging the timer if you have one.
  2. do it quickly and make sure EVERYTHING is OFF. make sure you are gong to IGN as well.
  3. $99/ hr at a 4 hr mininum , 7 hr maximum you wnat it done tell me now and I'll allocate the time off.. (and no I am not kidding on price or job..) now a 791 costs just under $1k from a dealer fitted.. you do the math.
  4. told ya he's good. I'm going to see the sticker people (the ones that supply the officail ones) through the week so can nab one then if you like. I'm going to try and get one for the new van as well.
  5. looked at that. evo wagon I liked cost kills it, wife liked it for some reason. I'll stick with a 33 sedan. easier to work on
  6. he'll need me to do it
  7. now I've started something it makes a huge difference. camera isnt here but I'll show you a 33 door (beofre and after) when I find my camera. the whole idea is to make the door as acoustically dead as possible (there is a LOT of tech to this but that is the gist of it,.) so you have almost zero refelctions and cancelation. the foam stops the reflections the sound deadening stops the panels from moving by adding weight. the result is better sound and a quieter car when the music is off.
  8. show me the unit.
  9. splits fr the front and coax (2way) for the rear. use the same brand and look closely at the efficiency of them (measured it dB/m) higher is better. when y ou do the fronts make the panel to suit the original and sound deaden the doors. doing both of those will get the most from your new purchase
  10. eatme is gone. one of the guys in nortfield macgregor owns them in prestige form.
  11. OEM or aftermarket version? only way is to try. I would say not if its the early version. got a pic?
  12. www.yellowpagescom.au they do have an online version and if you put in sydney and car audio into it, you will get 169 shops doing it with 3 pages of them listing websites . have a look. that way you can make your mind up who you wish to shop with.
  13. 4 wires. it will work though.
  14. yep and thats who quoted me on the one for my 2006 holden combo..
  15. after a 33. looked at 32 s and not really my thing. too old for me I'm afraid. I work on a lot of them and it seems the 32s have more done to them than the 33s do. personal preference really. I wish jspec (if you are reading hurry up please ) would send me pics and info on that pearl one I posted. starlet got sold today pending mech inspection for $8500!!
  16. kaz , its a coupe tho.. need a sedan.
  17. I would use the proper one myself but its up to you. that sirem has 3 wires on it. +12 , trigger, gnd.
  18. not cheap. I keep them and have one here. lesson learned?
  19. replace the siren. the rest is fine. did I do it?
  20. fire me a PM I keep things like this on hand.
  21. I have $10k to play with after adding a bit of my own money to it. (starlet is pending a $8500 payment!)
  22. totally different car here but the last quote I had for a real on e was excess of 2.5k full CF.
  23. bit of a shame really. you can't have a decent car without it being targeted. probably the reason I'm on the coast working a lot more now... I'm going to pac pines in the morn so if I see somehting odd I'll ring the local cops.
  24. no probs. hes done a few bumpers for me and the end result was I couldnt see where he did them on the front.
  25. I would if they were a bit cheaper. she wants somehting that will carry stuff . I really dont like a camry.
