as above really. I have 3G net access in my new van and have it setup to route back to a server in teh workshop (it accesses a Quickbooks DB.) problem is this: marc (revhead) and myself cannot work out how to get through this DSL modem/router. unit is a dynalink RTA100+. the whole idea of this is to be able to invoice whilst I'm out and about and the wife have access to the books during the day (takes the load off me at night.) and be able to use it at the workshop as well with out ripping a PC out of the van to do it. (which I used to do daily.) help! ($$ or booze supplied )

reason it needs to swap is the A/C and the radio and on one board. remove the OEM radio and you remove the A/C controls. you still need to know who makes the main unit. in some cases it's clarion (denso) others though it can be anything.also the navi unit WILL NOT be cheap as a spare part are you prepared to spend a few grand doing it? as for aftermarket - there are a few that I would use. again it comes down to cost.

metrosound- hutch. whiting street atarmon.

nissan if you have your vin handy- be prepared to pay BIG money for them- above poster has a better idea

actually it will. lose one 12" sub and it will do fine.

north or south? south - pricision in carlton (planthurst rd.)

needs a software change. there is a turbo version of that alarm. that will fix it.

ok that leads to a antenna probelm. give keith a ring and get him to extend teh antenna.

got a better pic of the dash specifically the center. want to look at the feasibility on a unit swap..

if they BOTH use denso then you are on a winner. if its ANYTHING like what I have seen in the 33/34s here they unit can be: clarion,xenavi,alpine,matsushita all for OEM. only way to truly work it out is to strip it. mind you that unit still will not be cheap. figure $3-4k at a minimum. this is what I mean by a swap out: to: there is a LOT to change to get to that stage. the AC controls have to be redone for one. how bad do you want it?

2 year warranty is what they have. did you send it away by chance?

if you had an electircal problem the car probably would not run properly. I would look at what you have changed.

yep it has to come out. if you push down ont he corners in the rear you will find 2 10mm bolts - remove and pust teh seat back up then remove it totally. shelf unclips.

true but that still doesnt fix the other issues. for a decetn price I can replace the LOT with a eclipse or the like. G35 has the same intgrated dash as well. as for the nav working - need to know who makes it. if you are in brissy I'll gladly pull the car apart and present you with a few options. as for replacing the LOT - can do and I have the needed part numbers to do it.

if they are serious - take it. doing a custom boot would add $2k on top of that if I had to spend 3 weeks on it.

red/blu stripe in the radio harness. common on 32 and 33, cant remember what it is for a 34. on the radio its usually org/wht. I'll edit it into the thread.

nothing worng with it if you like listening to the radio. that is the best part of them. cd sections leave a bit to be desired but they do work. I do 10-20 units a week most of them sony gt150s.

only packages I know of were the fusion ones. that said the one I know will not fit your car. give me a $2k budget and I can do one that will sound decent and use decent gear.
