so if I look at it I can see the alarm wiring going into the main harness? cool. I'll be over to collect a new car. bury the unit and hide the cabling so it CANNOT be seen.

yep he does them like I do. you see the angles hes gets into - I'm not much better and I'm 6'1"

actuator is stuffed. nissan would be a better bet. 4dr and coupe use the same one. the $15 items last 1-2 yrs and die.

ok that clarifies things. so they have added a second actuator onthe drivers door. (god knows why - its not needed!) that extra actuator seems to have failed. what needs to happen here is the FACTORY item needs to be connected to the alarm and the addon removed. if you are in SEQLD I can do this for you and set it up properly. by your tag I would say this is in a 32? your problem has nothing to do with the remotes btw.

to all those that want this ting to work- It won't. TV is in NTSC as well so the format is wrong.

more detail on the bold point pls. does yours have FACTORY keyless enrty or entry via key?

michael, Im in qld. I'm also a quiktrak licenced fitter. I'll have a chat to him.

randy, I ony know the size because I fitted a pair of philips GTC1703 years ago in the same spot. they lined up and used the same screws. for a cheap way out the pioneer ones that were mentioned will do fine. VDO also make them as do kenwood or sony. the jap brands have tags on the edges of the speakers to make them fit in the nissan hole. pop your door apart and remove the whole pod that the speaker is bolted to. take it to a shop and test fit a few. I do not sell anything that will fit your application unfortunately.

you haven't seen how I do them then? 90% of the car comes apart. ask anyone in brissy thats had one done by me..

mark see the above images. if you just want to replace yours and aren't that fussed on installation then you can reuse the stock one. otherwise its a custom job. the baffles are made as needed. (I should make a bunch of these things up seeing how I'm always asked for them..)

for a R32 they are 4x6. the rest are nissan 6.75".

needs a mast. easy to swap.

the newer ones will bolt in. no mods needed. however if you want the best sound out of them then a new baffle and sound deadening is the way to go.

actually DON'T chop the connector off. buy a late model nissan adapting plug and match the colors. easier and less stressful/ have them here $15. you will also need and antenna adapter as that one is the 2pin nissan item.

any of the main brand 6" items. they are set up for 6.5" mounting now.

decent actaually- bit hard to override when you need to though. still needs to be fitted properly though. wouldn't mind seeing some of the installs they do.

the local one here does mongoose. figure it would be the same down there.

those pockets are generic from 96 on they are in 99% of all nissans. I keep them here if anyone wants one. $20 + post.

I do actually. considering I havea mate teh works for qld transport - I reckon I could work out where that car is , load it and strip it before the owner knew.. sindows, fire me an email or ring me.

nope std 34 keyless entry. no chip. in regard to the microwave vs shock - shock. microwave will be played with to no avail. shock will warn off first then sound. to do it properly- shock,glass break,tilt. car will not move without something setting it off. to be paranoid - GSM paging/quiktrak.
