  1. and in a 32 it two wires in the kick panel or one behind the cluster. two in the KP are diode isolated from each other.
  2. I could actually tell him the colors as well ( I won't) next one I work on I'll take a few pics to share with you two. see if we do alarms the same way.
  3. PJ, did this one a while back. car has been sold since. same idea that I do with all of them. justin, would be interested to see who you work for. (fire me a pm.)
  4. really?? I have been a dealer for them for the past 3 years nd have had ZERO problems with them. yours sounds like an install problem as the units do not stuff up. ( also stop pushing autowatch, we already know its a good product.) www.mongoose.com.au and look under dealers. or ring the hornsby office and ask.
  5. www.yellowpages.com.au and let your fingers do the walking.
  6. freq/band expander is needed- I keep them on hand- $19.
  7. actually they did. if you drive a 32 GTR it was a dealer option on them( I have removed several.). they replace the entire lock assy with one that has an actuator on it. the whole lot is in the door and takes about 30 minutes to remove. if the remote has died them its time to upgrade.
  8. exactly. If I did it you would literally have to pull half the car apart. where are you?
  9. I have a few people down that that can do it properly. snd me a Pm and I'll send you their names.
  10. as has been stated - dont skimp in getting it done properly. $50 install can (and will) be removed on 30sec or less. pay the money. FRX026, we need to have a chat
  11. I would remove the 4x6 and put a set of JBL 6" (or similar speakers) in the front doors and a second set of 6" in the rear. amp isn't really needed on something that small.

  13. wait for super cheap to start carrying JVC then tell me about quality....
  14. no probs, in short what I am saying is this: pick a unit with aux in. pay to get it fitted by someone that knows what they are doing ( and waht you want!)
  15. depends on the stereo. if its the 6cd item - no ( unless you have the patch harness that is meanto to be with it.) the single cd will swap between teh s15 & n16 . s15->r32 - no. now with a bit of harness fiddling I can make it fit. mechanically it bolts in.
  16. your idea is partially correct, HOWEVER if it is a multipoint cut it will NOT work. most alarms reqiure the IGN input to stay active for the car to run. now if you switch that circuit out with a relay the car WILL SHUT DOWN. the only way to do it if it you drive an auto and the starter is disabled. that will work.
  17. mast is the actual section that goes up/down. cost $30-40. most audio shops should have it. if I can find a 33 to compare with then there is a good chance I have one in stock here. where are you?
  18. quicker to buy the new mast for it. saves pulling it out a second time when the other one breaks..
  19. not at all. if you think its a drop in - its not. hence my last comment about creativity.
  20. this was for the M80I . allan has the correct price for the M80G ( its the same as I charge.)
  21. yep the cd will still work however you will lose the sound. need to find something with an aux in then someone creative enough to make it work.
  22. if its a bw 10000 then the ign feed to the alarm needs to see 12v for the immobilstion circuits to stay in. so in your case its not possible (easily.)
  23. on a AA03 there was. holding the top button usually tripped it IF it was connected.
  24. I'll correct you on this: mongoose M60,M80 series SUPPORT THE USE of a turbo timer IT DOES NOT have one inbuilt. and the price is incorrect. $400 for the 80 series unit with central locking connection is correct.
