and both can be disabled.. food for thought. try doing that with a quiktrak - it will still transmit and do so 4 stories underground! as a second point the local council uses this system on their fleet and they HAD GSM units in this fleet. they were forever losing the fleet. average vehicle cost for this fleet is $2.5m. again food for thought

never seen this! to be honest someone has tapped a wire they shouldn't have. you mentioned side airbags what is the EXACT model (chassis code will do) of your car. reason I ask is I have never come across one with side airbags. take it to someone that works with autowatch (if you are in SEQLD bring the car to me.) and get hte alarm disconnected. from there its off to a nissan dealer to get the codes pulled. once you have done that get hte alarm recoonected AFTER you ahave driven aroudn for a week or so with NO problems. thats the only way to debug the problem easily.

DL the apexi RSM manuals and look up your car. that will give you the CORRECT diagram.

nissan pockets are nissan pockets. they all come from the same bin. in regard to the toyota one - NOPE! the nissan one will boilt straight in. I usually keep them on hand for $28 (out currently.)

sms units are $550-600. that said the person that fits it may not tie the immobiliser to it for safety reasons. quiktrak would be a better option if you have service in your area. they usually have the car secured with in 15 minutes IF it gets going.

disarm the alarm and disconnect the battery. that should do it if its the alarm I think it is.

really hard to tell you without looking at it. do all the 'colours' match up? (if you had the harness apart this will make sense.)
