  1. nice , neat and only you know what is under it finding them could be fun though.
  2. possibly- depth may be an issue though. going for the OEM look I see..
  3. quite possibly.
  4. A) correct. however if you are willing to do that then you can make your own diagram. somehting I do daily. B) yes. now if you do it in NSW then you are linked to a database that is linked DIRECTLY to teh police. now I will not hand out diagrams to anybody for two reasons: 1. having to repeat myself 20-30 times. 2. geeting blamed for someone elses F'up when they grenade an airbag or frying a harness. 3. if you need a diagram then you really shouldnt be working on the car as per PJ's point.
  5. unlikely but possible. only way it could do this would be if the amplifier earth was loose. that in turn would destroy the earth tracks on the unit. try what I suggested first.
  6. if you can pull the rears off and stick a shorting plug in place then move the isolator to the sub channel as a temp measure. if it works buy another one. to do it properly would require a TOTAL strip and rework.
  7. both are VERY noisy cars - though if you do the wiring correctly that wont be a problem. what you have is a quick fix and works. it will also roll the VERY low bass off quite sharply. so of the amplifiers have better input stages than others but to my knowledge none of them have inbuilt RCA chokes. (on th PSU they do.)
  8. not really an expert but toyota and fujitsu 10 have been doing business for years and I dare say they are the same unit..
  9. nope. nothing personal but I cannot be sure that you woint nick a car with it.
  10. you have an amplifer on the rear speakers. what car EXACTLY?
  11. but not a mongoose item. the autowatch one posted earlier will fit anything.
  12. I wouldn't mind a challenge
  13. sounds like you have an alarm...
  14. the last one I did had a TV in it. same setup. everything was in the rear of the car. I pulled the lot out and ran RCA cables to the rear, added an amp and was done with it. up to you for what you rerun. cabliing was there and it was a low buck job so I reused it.
  15. ok that one isnt that bad. the speakers are found on the amp (all 4.) you should be able to ID these with a meter. the best approack would be a small 4ch amplifier in place of the original and run RCA cables to it.
  16. true but if he has the tv the whole lot is elsewhere in the car. doen two of these cars that were set up in htis fashion and it involved a TOTAL reiwre.
  17. do you have the TV? (I take it this is also a sedan and not a coupe.)
  18. dont bother. if the OEM items are in decent nick use htem and concentrate on the front stage.
  19. no glue needed. its a press fit usually.
  20. sean, MBQ forbid it actually. warranty will not exist on them either. booster, you have the idea
  21. also - ebay MBQ = fakes -see a dealer if you wnat them
  22. did you mention where you lived??
  23. best idea. there is an IGN feed already there to do it.
  24. you can get 1.3 ohms but I wouldn't run it at that.
