Yep, that was my point... Including the bar weight is the 'industry standard' if you want to call it that. At the end of the day, you're pushing/pulling the weight of the bar in every exercise.

Never understood why people don't include the bar weight. It's not ego stroking. If you bench the bar with no added weights, you're not benching 0kg. Same goes for all other exercises

I'd hardly put Alonso in the same category as Hamilton. Looked like a pure racing incident to me. Button had the inside line but that is the outside line being a chicane. He didnt really have anywhere to go short of almost stopping mid corner imo, and the stewards seem to agree

Then it's a case of even people in the F1 world not understanding how it was setup at Montreal, as they were talking about the double DRS allowing the passed car a chance to fight to gain the lost position back

The double DRS zone didn't work because there was no secondary detection zone...They needed to have a second detection zone right after the first chicane, so that the car that had just been passed could use the DRS if they managed to stay within 1sec after being passed on the back straight. Allowing the car that's just made the pass to open his wing just means he's pretty much guaranteed to hold the position, unless the car that was passed on the back straight was within 1sec of a car in front of him as well... The 2 zones/detection points should've been completely independent of each other
