Was just curious as to why I get warned for a post in a for sale thread ages ago, labelled as 'trolling' (from memory the seller of a car said it was dirt cheap, someone asked how cheap dirt was, and I said consult your local nursery) yet its ok for a mod and an admin to 'troll' on several occasions in the one thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=160974 Personally it doesn't really phase me, but just wondering why there's 2 sets of rules...does being a mod/admin give you the right to spam someones for sale thread?

The R33 autos are heavier, have less power, and less torque than the manual model....So with the R33 being just over the power to weight limit, there's a good chance the auto is under...

Strongly disagree. I don't think there's a decent well sorted R33 out there for $12k. If you do believe that, then good luck with any of the cars you buy

you'd think with hack teams consistently performing in practice sessions, you guys would start to realise that it means sweet f**k all in real racing terms....they're out there running times because they need to be...where as major teams could be out there raping them without lube.... Of course this is just my personal opinion on this stuff, and yes there are big teams out there in the times above....but I wouldn't be reading too much into any of it

same goes for people thinking they'll get a decent 33 for $12k....Just because you saw some for that price...doesn't mean thats what decent ones are worth.

Yep, series 2...and the key it came with had keyless entry on it...Since installing the alarm I've just been using the nismo key, and the remote to open doors obviously... I played around with a few wires in there, and it seemed to work....then died shortly after. Just a suspicion/thought, the passenger door lock button on the drivers side window controls, I remember when the installer did the alarm, that button no longer locked/unlocked the passenger door anymore....now that the remote is failing to lock/unlock the doors, that button is working again.... When I pulled the trim off, I obviously had to disconnect the plug that controls that button and the wipers etc...The doors didn't lock from the remote until I reconnected that plug...Is there a chance its got something to do with that? If I was to cut the wire that controls that door lock button, any chance that would solve the issue?

Well my 'solution' stopped working already...lasted about an hour maybe....So looks like I'll have to pay a pro to fix it now...

Ok...so I found I had one of those motors left over (they use the same 1 for boot release apparently but my installer said he didn't want to use it for that as it would fail regularly) So I took off the door trim...I didn't even find 1 of the motors pictured above....all that was in the door looked to be factory stuff...So I basically stood there looking at stuff...poked around etc...decided I had no idea what I was doing and gave up....plugged the window control switch etc back in, armed the alarm, and bam...the doors lock now....So I fixed something...I just have no idea what exactly

so shit....just put a f**king red dot on the outside and leave it....if its so hard to see because its moving to fast, then sit on a f**king slower corner ffs
