  1. Recommendations for a mobile guard rolling service and contact details for someone who services northside Sydney? cheers
  2. If you dont (or u r not allowed !) buy it let me know and I will take it off his hands! cheers
  3. Only taken a year to respond to this but hey I have been spotted....even if it was in the MPS and not the DR30!
  4. I might bring down my DR30 RS for the show. Would be an awesome sight to have so many DR's in one place! cheers
  5. I have spotted your DR twice in Gordon/Killara in the last month. I liev around there. I havent seen one on the road in 10 years (except mine of course) and I have seen yours twice in a month! PM me if you want chat DR's. I was in my black MPS (number plate Raven) which you are more likely to see around as my DR only comes out to play about once a month. cheers
  6. Ok, I guess I will be the nice one.... anyone in the Classic Skylines forum has a love of and it is for the discussion only for pre R32 Skylines (before 1989). For us old Skyline nuts, Xenon sounds like a planet that has not been discovered, rather than a light bulb I suggest your query will find a lot more response in another, more modern orientated sub forum on SAU. cheers
  7. Whoops, hit reply too quickly.... loved your Starion, I am such a fan of 80's wedge coupes like my Dr, Starions, R31 coupes and the first Supra's. Bloody hot day but it was nice to cruise with like minded enthusiasts. Bring on the next one!
  8. Took the DR along with the kids. Didnt stay that long at Wiseman's Ferry but not a bad day. Would have loved to have seen more old skool Skylines but for a first up effort for the Classic JDM organisers it was good. I must admit the I was hoping wankers in the Lexus and the Corolla that were showing their appendage size by doing pathetic donuts etc on the grass were going to crash into a tree. It truly was pathetic and just spoils things for the rest of us. Must have been some other huge cruise on as I when I was leaving Wisemans there were a heap of cars (everyting from Comonwhores, Falcon GT's, WRX's etc ) were driving down into Wiseman's.
  9. Make: Nissan Model: 1984 DR30 RS Turbo FJ20 Coupe Milage: 110000 Transmission:5 speed manual Colour: Silver Location: Sydney Complied? Yes RWC supplied? regoed in NSW Currently registered? till January 2009 Price: around $20k Contact: Steve on 0414342094 Thinking of finally buying a GTR after many years deliberating but will only do so if my beloved DR30 goes to a good home and for the right price. We all know these machines have appreciated in value in recent years and this is probably one of the best in Australia. I was going to keep the DR and buy a GTR to put beside it but a new place and finances will prevent this. Dont really want to let go of the DR unless I could find something else exactly what I was looking for. Hence my swap list at the bottom of the post. 1984 DR30 RS Coupe FJ20 Turbo 110700 kms Volk Racing 16 inch rims with correct offset Bilstein Suspension Brand New Strut Brace not yet fitted Almost mint paint. Air con regassed and seals done in December 2007 Jan 2009 NSW rego with DR30XX plates 3 inch catback exhaust Alpine CD with iPod input, 6.5 inch clarion speakers on new carpeted parcel shelf, Pioneers in front doors, completely retrimmed interior and boot (original colour scheme but with a mixture of leather/tweed trim). Clarion shallow mount sub and amp Always garaged and pampered Won best Classic in 2007 Skylines Australia Show in Sydney Ok in terms of swaps I would consider the following with cash adjustment your way: Aussie delivered 1991 R32 GTR 1994 R32 V Spec II GTR 1997/1998 R33 Series 3 V Spec GTR they must also be in comparable immaculate condition with low kms. Modifications ok but must be mild and in keeping with the originality of the car. Colour preference is black, silver, grey, white, blue, maroon. Definitely not purple! (sorry just personal choice ) Obviously would prefer NSW car as it would be an easier transaction. Contact Steve on 0414342094
  10. Speaking of which it appears my old PNV is on sale AGAIN! http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Automotive/U...ckToResult=true
  11. Sorely tempted by this as a track machine but in WA...arrrgh ! Any pics for curiousity sake? cheers
  12. Did u end buying that C210 V8 Skyline? I saw that on carsales and wanted to buy it but I didnt get a response from the seller...looks like I was too slow! Is the V8 engineered? The body work looked in great nick in the photos and the Simmons complimented the car beautifully.
  13. www.ccuautotrim.com.au They do a lot of old Porsches, Mustangs etc. After 24 years both front seats needed some repadding and the rear seat was a challenge too. They are not cheap but like all things in life you get what you pay for. If you look at some of before shots you get an idea what an improvement it was.
  14. I finally found 2 minutes to take some quick pics of the new interior/boot of my beloved DR30. Kept the original colour theme inside but replaced the black cloth with black leather. Lifts the interior and the leather smell is always preferable! I am stoked at how it has turned out. The boot I have taken a few more liberties with the shallow mount sub and the amp.
  15. Found a rear shot and it is definitely my old car (I put the black rubber strip on the edge of the bootlid). The car looks fantastic.
  16. Couldnt make it to the Skyline nats last weekend but saw this photo of a HR30 which looks like my old Paul Newman. It looks like the wheels have been changed and a new rego plates but the pinstripe etc makes me think it was my old car. Great to see it still looking great. Did anyone go to the nats and has a rear shot to see if it really is my old car? cheers
  17. Does anyone else maybe know? I am interested if they fit a coupe. cheers
  18. I picked the trim. I am going black leather but with a original style redish cloth insert and matching door trims/rear trim. I am also getting the trim redone over the rear wheel arches where they intrude in the cabin. My boot is now done and it looks sensational. I should have taken some photos but was so overwhelmed with the job I forgot! I reckon the RS-X wagon would be cool but I love the KGC10 and with a RB25DE it would be a ripper.
  19. can you PM me? I would be interested in seeing the pics. cheers
  20. Probably like the one I saw on yahoo japan. It looks more pimp in that photo as the red cloth insert looks more pink than red. Provided the red is right I think it will lift the look of the interior but still be in keeping with the car. Here is a job my trimmer did on a Mustang. You just have to imagine a red insert where this one is blue.
  21. I will see what happens. I have left my offer on the table with Zeb.
