  1. My car is a headache at the moment but when it goes right it is worth having. Very costly hobby we have however gentlemen. I think my next car will be a really late model 34 and I wont (try not to anyway) alter it to much apart from a exhaust and a stereo.
  2. Slightly less chance of theft and also its a red light for you if cops see it when they pull you over. They arnt too keen on gadgets the old donut boys
  3. 3 hours is about right if your undoing all the blots with a swiss army knife in the dark!
  4. I had an alarm fitted before i even even put a head unit in it.
  5. Id sooner spend 55 grand on russian mail order brides and buff them befor i bought this heap of crap. Stailess steel! f**ks sake, does it come with a sink in the boot and a chopping block?
  6. Will have to keep these sort of things going. Im on the Gold Coast but i would drive up there for something to do with a few buddies. Too many law enforcement gentlemen around these parts lately now days. Might see you guys at the next one.
  7. No im impressed man. And im not easily impressed. Look !!! A blue car!!!!! hahahahah Nah, sounds on the money to me. Id imagine that is quite quick considering the mods. Ive never had mine down a strip, but i would of guessed youd run a 14 flat with mods so good on ya.
  8. thats a hard one?! Ive got a little perspex case attached to door handle on the outside of the car and its inside that . Ive also glued my boost controller to the rear number plate. Hope this helps.
  9. In sydney on holidays. What clubs are good down here? Apart from home etc. Isnt central station and bass station down here somewhere?
  10. Mine was doing the whole possesed thing around 3500-5000. That was with some shitty bosch plugs. On holidays now so ill start it when i get home. I bought some of the copper resistar type ngks with a 8mil gap, and I also siliconed up the coils. So Im hoping it will work now.
  11. that sux man. I have a similar story, I blew my motor up and decided to have a wrecking yard/mechanic/importer put a new one in for me. When I got car back I noticed it sounded like a tractor, wouldnt boost up and ran like shit. Wouldnt even idle properley. I rang the guy and he said bring it back after xmas holidays and ill fix it for free. I did that and the number was disconected. damn. I got hold of him through a guy who knew where he was. He got shut down by authorities. I told him car is stuffed and he wasnt really prepared to help me out with that until conveniently I let him know his new boss where he was working is my best mates step dad and his new job could be in danger of ending if he doesnt cooperate. Took 3 weeks and I have it back now and its pretty good. Not 100% however. It had massive exhaust leaks, inlet leaks, and vacum leaks. Apparently it wasnt like that when he finished it. like f@$jk
  12. the metal on metal sound is you running into the guard rails because you cant handle the extra rpm and speed. Get a clue! hhahah
  13. hahahha. Ive missed a bit of this. Just gone on holidays to Sydney. Bugger all skylines at all around here (hurstville). I expected more. But yeah next time 33 sedan get a car 'that we all like'. That way you will in the 'in crowd' so to speak. You might even end up cool. But dont try to hard because we all know what we call those people...... lol
  14. I have just pulled out my ignition coils and ran silicon around the top and bottom of coil. Basically covered the whole thing. Is the next step after they have dried wrapping the whole coil in electrical tape and then cleaning plugs on coils with electronic contact cleaner? I have just bought some new plugs and hopefully that will solve the problem. The silicon gasket glue material is resistant to temperatures of 350 degrees is that enough? Cheers Ross
  15. What your actually trying to say is you have doubled your factory hp specs with the basic mods you have done? i dont think so. Unless you have done fuel mods or something else you havnt mentioned?
  16. Shane, Wheres the sheet then? Funny thing is a 33 gtr with a few mods equalling less than a few grand would leave your sourer looking for a family to sit in it. I quite like sourers but i will have to see a dyno slip before I beleive 500hp Im sorry. My mates gtr 33 blows mosts cars off the road at the moment and that has a lot less than that. Yes thats including supras. Hey put up a slip and ill eat my words.
  17. lordsnipe, I own a r33 and my best mate own a 32. They are not boats. My mates has more mods(mainly fuel related) and mine is still quicker. The weight difference is less than 50kgs. The sourer has a more lush interior with bells and whistles (kind of like a boat?). Yet the 33 doesnt? hmmmm. Whats that telling you. I like 33's as they are more spacious, only slightly heavier(but have more cubes anyway) and in my opinion more practical. You made the right choice. Lets start a new thread. titled "Boats vs Cars".
  18. um? If you read properley youll see I was not the one comparing the two cars. I was telling another member I understand what they are trying to say (not necesarilly agree with 100%). But thanks so much for your input. A supra and a sourer actually have the same stock (on paper anyway) power as each other. A gtst and a supra dont. So now your the one 'comparing' much different cars. So its nothing like that at all. But again, thankyou very much for your unwanted input into my 'apparent comparison'. lol
  19. my 25 is doing exactly what you have described. And im just as f**king cluess as you. Ive tested pump injectors reg, had vacum leaks fixed, cleaned every bloody sensor plug in the engine bay. And still nothing helps
  20. $1500 keep going. Mine cost $2800 for a decent one. 500 hp seems a little hard to believe. A rb26dett out of a gtr has same stock power as yours, and with computr injectors and turbo upgrade that would be a bit of a pipe dream.
  21. missing bolts not a problem!!!! hahahhhaha. Your kidding me!!! Do you own wheel nuts? might aswell f**k them off too! lol
  22. Not correct bob, Just hav a turbo to manifold and a manifold to exhaust leak fixed and it was fairly unnoticable off boost. So much so, the inlet manifold was quetioned aswell in the beginning
  23. I can see your point. But supras are wider and lower generally and im fairly sure they have a shorter wheel base. A well set up supra handles better than a 33 id imagine. But I see your point, it would be in the same category for sure
  24. And also I had a little drop bck to forth and compare torque race on the back highway with a sourer sub zero built and let me say disgraced me would be putting it nicely. The thing was of its tits.
