    The Wall!

No, recently when they've had a short season, it's followed by another later that year. And in the last ep JC mentions a few times being back in Autumn.
  2. Time to re-light a fuse, found this this arvo. http://www.themotorreport.com.au/5063/snea...ssans-fr-coupe/ Nissan Promo Shot Promo Based Render From the second shot, i like it. AMG cues in the nose suit well. Not so much the Civic Type R badge area.

    Radar Guns

Ummm... do you mean more than one car? Wouldn't the ONE car be the one being speed checked?

    The Wall!

it'll probably wind up early in s12, which supposedly isn't far off (UK Autumn), just a few months boys, be patient.
  5. gold ftw.... not a fan of white on white

    Radar Guns

If he had to chase you, i don't think he'd even need a radar reeding, his speedo would have done a decent amount of the talking.
  7. There was a non turbo model late in the cycle, but you'd have to import it yourself - not many would be wanting to bring in a non-turbo when there's an abundance of turbo's about. But still, look for a post '96 model, type S like this one 180sx Type S
  8. FPV BF Cobra in Latrobe St last night, for what is essentially a dressed up GT-P they look damn nice.
  9. I agree with you there - Benz, Aston, Porche all have City or close dealers, but Werribee? Fentree Gully i could have picked, seeing as it's Nissan Vic's unofficial flagship location.
  10. You can get genuines from Just Jap ($270 pair), or you can get a set of Narva 110mm indicators at Repco ($6 ea). I think it's pretty obvious which way to go unless you're a purist! Just Jap 400R indicators
  11. They should be able to get it, when i needed new glass they had it within 48 hrs. Try a different dealer.
  12. Dude, there's a 'for sale' section specially set up for this kind of thing.... And being a P-Plater, he can't drive a turbo with surrendering his wallet and demerit points to the Carabinieri.
  13. Little off topic, but: Correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm sure i read somewhere that the first iterations of the current M cars are having reliability issues now because of people constantly driving them in M mode, where M was designed more for special occasions (track etc) and the engine detuned to protect it's longevity? A problem the HSV will most likely not face, due to it's simplicity.
  14. Without any bias for owning a 33, i'd say go the 33. cool and tough looking as they are, 32's are approaching 20 years old. So for your money, a 33 will give you a much fresher car, with much less likelihood of something going catastrophically wrong. Also, the extra half litre in a 33 makes a lot of difference, from what i've seen you have to wring an RB20 to get moving quickly.
  15. Mate, if you can afford the extra stuff (insurance mainly, the only people willing to touch a skyline are Shannons and Just Cars, who make you pay for the privelidge) i'd say go for it. What most people here are ignoring with all the power talk is that Skylines (well, my 33 at least) are quite brilliant handling cars. When you come to a twisty section of road, that you know well, it'll be tough to stop smiling. And in all likelihood, by the time you're 25, it'll probably be cheaper to sell up for a 34 GTT if you want one.

    The Wall!

He'll blast it as uncool. "it's a cut price supercar, and does for supercars what a diesel does for ordinary cars - makes you look cheap" or something along those lines.
  17. Terry, you've neglected the fact that the GTS (for that price) would have been a NEW car, whereas the GTR would have been between 4 and 8 years old. Thus the GTR would have done the bulk of it's depreciation already, whereas like all new cars the GTS would drop like a stone. And Roy, i'm glad someone else shares my skepticism with the neck gag. Every person i speak to swears it's real, but not many seem to question the rescue garbage truck and lawnmower. Or the "Safety car" (R33 with reflector tape) when he tests the Caparo for that matter.
  18. Talk to Blits Bodykits in QLD, they went through the whole process and now have ADR approved bonnets and guards, they could probably point you in the right direction. http://www.blitsbodykits.com.au/
  19. I disagree with you there, when I changed out my muffler (still on stock piping for now) I noticed that the car revved a lot easier than it did with the stock setup.
  20. It's only a six episode series, so it must be near. TG website lists the coming episode's features, inc GTR on a Japanese circuit. http://www.bbc.co.uk/topgear/show/nextepisode.shtml
  21. I'd say you're off. I reckon there'd be a tonne of paperwork to run you off the road as opposed to an on-the-spot fine. I read somewhere that this is part of their 'any car could be a cop' campaign, i saw an unmarked jeep wrangler in the city awhile ago, and read of them using R32's and the like with P-plates to nab you.
  22. I'd say you were lucky more than anything. If it was a TMU guy he'd know A) gts4 would be fine, as it's a non-turbo, and B) to book you for running a modified engine if it's the turbo conv in his sig.
  23. Massively illegal, and dangerous.
  24. He doesn't really say much about the car. More of a commentary of Japan.
  25. Still around for awhile yet, stock up! 100ron + 7ron Octane booster + modified 30hp outboard + 75kg IRB= plans for fun in a couple of months.
