Oh yeah that is another mod that has been done. I will post a pic of the remote upgraded coil pack setup. Though that said it still may be a problem. Actually to be honest it has started after removing the Rocker covers so may be the prob as they had to come off to do that. Will look tomorrow. Do you know why the air flow meter is doing that. Also is 185.5rwkw a good number for a stock turbo FMIC, full 3'' zorst, fuel pump and FPR on 11psi

excuse my ignorence what is a CAS????? I know the air flow meter is almost maxed out on 11psi which i was told is not meant to happen. I swapped it over for a new one but it was the same.

Possibly a rocker arm. My ca was doing a similiar thing but it was the big end bearings gone. Soon after that i threw a rod. Go and get it checked from a mechanic. ust to be sure. I am not sure if the guys on here are right about the bearing noise would not go away as mine always did. As soon as i got over a certain rpm it wnt away. DR drift tunes a mates car and heard the same noise on a smaller scale up in darwin and then stopped tuning but he said it was a bearing knock and that goes away.

Ok i have recently brought a r32 with a rb25det in it. It is stock apart from a full 3'' exhaust and a FMIC. I am also running a hks power filter and a boost controller. Also got a malpassi FPR and a walbro fuel pump. It is tuned at 185.5rwkw at 11psi. It was running pretty shit and the tuner said it had a really bad lean spot in it. He then upped the Fuel pressure by fiting the FPR and it was ok for a while. I then had intermittent problems of the car coughing and spluttering. Kinda like a massive missfire when changing to second gear. It was normally when turning a corner or entering a drift. I checked the fuel pump and all was ok apart from the fact that the pump was only getting 8 volts. I then ran a whole new wire on a circuit breaker and a relay so now it gets 13.4 volts. The problem went away for a while but now is back. Has happened the last two days. As far as i know it is still on 11psi or lower. Could it be a boost spike or spark. I am really unsure and every time i take it to the tuner it doesnt do it. (f**k i hate that). Any suggestions that might help i am all ears. Also i searched but cant find anything on this R&R and stock ecu boost problems over 10psi. Can you shed some light on that also Thanks. Forgot to mention it is running a stock ecu and the Airflow meter is hitting 4.9 volts on 11psi. Been told it may have a high flowed turbo maybe. Cheers

Not looking at marketing them as i paid to much for them as it is. $400 with tires but i neeed skid rims so i am going to clean them up and paint the inside and polish the lip. As long as ya car is reletively legal i would buy one anyways and just keep your stocko stuff if you get hassled/defected swap back and go over the pits. There is also a place in QLD i think that do 100% road legal carbon and fibre glass bonnets etc. The cops as far as i know cant do anything about it. Is fully approved

These rims i brought on the weekend as skid rims. THey are 16 inch by 8 inch two peice i think. They have Tommy Kaira stamped on the inside along with the word japan. Would like to know what they are meant to be off. PCD is 5/114.3 cheers.

A mate has brought the spool ones off ebay and has been running them for the past couple years. I have just ordered some. They are pretty good. The only thing i would recommend would be to do what my tuner does and replace the screws that you tighten into place when the desired timing is found thus stoipping them slipping in anyway. People always say shit like the post above but they never say why. There can be some good buys off ebay as long as the proper precuations are taken. Although if your that worries you can buy tomie and greddy off ebay so it cant be all bad. Good luck and keep us posted.

ABS locks on then off then on then off and the peddle was getting a mad shutter which i was told from people there that that is the abs kicking in as i was sliding along the dirt. I did not like it at all. Would prefer no abs at all.

I have done some searches on here and only really find stuff to do with r32 gtr. Is this different to r32gtst abs. I have just competed in the Motorkhana on dirt and had trouble stopping in time at the finish due to the ABS kicking in and out. I was thinkin about removing it. Is this a big job do i need to worry about anything else being affected. Ie hicas. I also want to lock that should i do it all at once. Is there anything i need to consider before doing it. Pros and cons of doing this. Is there a fuse that i can just remove. I just dont like the peddle feel i have never driven with ABS before and really prefer the feel knowing when things will lock up and how much peddle to press. If that makes sense i would love some assistance in this matter. Cheers in advance

Hey guys just need to know if the rb20det and rb25det share the same rocker cover gasket. Simple yes or know will work. Need to order one asap but Kerry nissan need a vin number. Since mine is a r32 with a rb25det in it they can only supply a r32 one. Need to know if it will fit. Cheers in advance.

I am having a very similiar problem at the moment. If the shutter is there when you take off and then goes away it is most likely your Center bearing. We are changing mine this week. Put it on the hoise yesterday and you could move it around. There was no tention on it at all. Hope this helps

for something so important i would not be skimping mate. Get the best of the best. Well that is what i would do. Spend less on something not so important and make up the cash there.
