  1. It's got 2000's now already Hopefully a 3rd supply pump isn't needed. If it is, I probably won't do it and just stick with whatever 2 can do
  2. Thanks guys! Yes I'm after an inside one, the ones in the engine bay are nice but they're useless when the car is moving. The major concern I've got is that I go for a drive and one fuel pump dies, then stand on the loud pedal and you can all guess the rest Baron I've got the defi triple cluster that replaces the stock dials in the centre, I don't have a seperate boost gauge cause the ebc does that and it's not something I'd look at anyway (there's enough to worry about when you're up it). Does the gauge you've got have a warning or memory recall for a minimum value? The defi gauge in my supra is a bf boost gauge and it has peak recall etc of course with the control box2, but peak isn't a value I want for fuel pressure, if it has a warn at a user defined preset minimum level that would be perfect! Destrukshn do you have a pic of your one please? I know what you mean, the spending never ends!
  3. Remember mines a 3L though Made another 50kw odd with no fuel pump change. I have twin 044's with an 044 lift I was a bit concerned about fuel pressure on the day but it was fine, for the next tune I'm not so sure
  4. Fuel pumps were fine, with only an injector change it made more
  5. Here you go http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=5531875
  6. Hey all, Who's using a fuel pressure gauge on their car? Im getting concerned about fuel pressure, so whats good, whats bad, where to buy etc All info is appreciated

  8. Anyone would think your name was mclaren
  9. A simple search will tell you that fuel setup answer.
  10. Dont worry, there were a lot of people surprised at that fact on the day (happened at SAUNSW dyno day)! Remember torque eats DC so im sure that played a part Nonetheless that didnt work so 2000's went in and its all good now. Using numbers from when we did the switch, it needed between 35/40% (cant remember the exact) more DC. So 800's at 85% is 680cc, safe bet of 30% extra needed for the e85, that leaves 476cc - before drivetrain loss. I wouldnt worry about an Evo result, its all guess work but we can at least use the same maker/cylinder count to try and get an outcome. Here's a spanner in the works; VR38's using 990/1000's are pulling big numbers and are seemingly ok for DC EDIT: On E85 the temptation to screw silly amounts of boost and timing in is pretty hard to resist. Mine wouldnt knock, so before the end of the month its back on the rollers Its a good thing you've got Chris down there to stop you getting too overboard with it
  11. Autosport in Kirrawee are doing mine
  12. I disagree, i had 1000's maxed at 403rwkw so i dont think 800's will cut it Mind you thats 400cc bigger engine Try it and see
  13. 3rd and hard to say. I started at 1am and played until 5am then slept, then woke up around 2 and played till 4, then went out and don't know what time I got back but had it done about an hour after coming home
  14. Lol! "it never ends" Btw you know my carbon Kevlar seat, do you want it? I want a different one and want to sell this before buying another so I'm not stuck with two. You know what it's like at mine with parts and space
  15. People with more knowledge than I have in this area have sorted it out for me so it's quiet and flows like a drainpipe I don't mind a bit of noise, just want all the flow possible. Time will tell
  16. Lol, not much of a race the person doing mine takes off on holidays tomorrow hahaha Mines got 2 mufflers aswel, other is in the box. Still, I got the motor in the car so that has to be a headstart haha
  17. For sure. If only Horner had stuck to his word from earlier in the season

  21. Once it's printed I'll call the neighbouring Presidents and offer it interstate
  22. Guys why bother? This "build" is so budget. Put new stock pistons in and be done with it
  23. If they havnt got it, the best thing to do is to fill one out and send to them straight away, then call them up to check they got it, then PM me if they don't have payment and the club will send a cheque. If there's anything else they want just let me know

Those cars had the k's going wild! The average each year was around 40000k's (from the horses mouth) so its quite possible.
