  1. Unbraced ones are over 1000hp. Mines making the power you want, no brace. Spend the money elsewhere
  2. Oh yeah, looking forward to Ferrari getting raped with fines and stripped of points. Its the only way they'll learn
  3. Wow that incline looks like fun! Definatly a track for cars with their aero sorted out.
  4. Am i the only one thinking "take it to a proper mechanic"???
  5. PLEASE tell me you've caught the power bug now and you'll go psycho on that R32 instead of stock
  6. Awesome shot right there. Great work
  7. Such a cool car The TT ones don't have bucket loads of power but it's SO nice inside Plus the noise they make at idle is to die for
  8. Smart minds think alike, wrinkle silver is the colour for my new engine covers with a new plaque. Should look good when all fitted up
  9. lol Youve seen my car up close, you know my thoughts on polishing
  10. Nah that's a good one though, this is the one That's the BMW dealership straight ahead
  11. The one of the launch at the lights near sylvania maccas was great
  12. Black is the new......black?
  13. I bought a set a little while ago in Matt black. They're quite light, of course they're not as light as a set of jap wheels that are 3 times the price. They're the only non jap 18" wheel that vie found that can take 380mm brakes with monoblock calipers. If you hit a pothole and bend one, there's local support etc. Worth buying.
  14. If you're shopping by price, there's capable injectors for even as low as $60ea, but shopping by price means there will be trade offs in the product quality/performance etc
  15. I'm at work now so I can't find it but there's a video somewhere of ID's working as dropins for a Honda It's not a perfect comparison though, it's sort of like saying GTR's have shit oil pumps and I have a supra so the supra will need an aftermarket billet oil pump etc. I'd be trying to find someone with a GTR who is having dramas instead of a Honda person.
  16. I can't remember the exact wording as it was a while ago but the points he was making was; -Better to tune -Better to drive -something about response time -Well worth the expense He tunes with any gear that people bring in, so for someone as widely respected to say that, and after driving it back to back on the 1000's, that's good enough for me
  17. The people with successful builds are probably out driving around
  18. Mercury Motorsport Idles fine, just like stock except for the lumpy cams. Idle is set to 950rpm. There's vids on YouTube if you wantto look then up but they wont help with this at all The biggest shock was the low speed/throttle drivability. Before it was shit on light throttle or carpark speeds and I just put that down to the 1000's being so large. The ID's are just like stockers. Sure they're not cheap, but nothing good is! The tuner, who does a LOT of tuning in Syd was over the moon with them and couldn't believe how good they are compared to the Indy blues which of course until the ID2000's came around were the big injector of choice for e85 cars
  19. Voted. After the rebuilt stock motor died, I had an rb30 bottom built with a heap of other mods like single conversion etc and that didn't last 3000k's. Current motor is fine though, so maybe having a seperate poll for "rebuilt after the failure and fine"? As said, no one posts up "hey just thought I'd let you know, everythings fine" Don't forget either as dan said there's so many reasons one can pop so it's not always the builders fault
  20. Looking good! Its still to early to call the weather but so far it's all positive
  21. CP's are shit hey? Well, glad you have the facts on that one. Go look at how many GTR's use CP pistons without issue. Also, have a look at which drag cars use CP, you'd better email those teams and give them the heads up aswel.
  22. I'm bigtime jealous! It looks like a pretty clean one aswel!
