Still worth it to listen to the engines on full volume IMO, but then again I'm a bit of a tragic for the noise of an F1 engine

This is probably the smartest post of yours on SAU. Why people stop at a certain number they get stuck in their heads is just STUPID

Ring Autosport Engineering, ask for Greg 95211388, tell him the SAUNSW guys referred you to him. You'd get a discount if you were a club member, but I see that you're not a current member. A number of club members have had their cars engineered through him including myself and it's a painless process using Greg unless you've got some V8 twin turbo sort of conversion going on, but in saying that, as long as it passes emissions and the power to weight ratio and engine size ratio it should pass. For any specific questions best to ask the person who knows instead of people on here as you'll get a lot of incorrect information who are guessing or havnt been through the process themselves. Expect to spend somewhere around the $1000 mark give or take a couple of hundred depending on mods to the car. An inspection should be free to tell you whats passable and what is not, so whoever it trying for $375 seems a bit rich to me.

OP: Good start, but as you can see, there isnt much that isnt covered on how to do this. By all means if you have some breakthrough in how to do it I'd suggest you do a new thread stating exactly what the new breakthrough is rather than a long thread as we have those already. Dont be put off by some of the comments in here

Nice looking actuator! Where did you get the manifolds extrude honed? Berry's GTR used to be (still is?) on stock manifolds, surely they'd know if it's a restriction so maybe call CNJ Motors in Queensland and see what they have to say? -

Loved the RENEW Prez vs SAU Prez runs mate, that was great watching When Don is at one next time we can have Ex RENEW Prez vs Ex SAUNSW Prez haha then repeat the current Prez vs current Prez

Your 1J effort certainly makes a convincing argument

Mmm thats tempting, VERY tempting to try out. Always wanted twin highmount power but never went through with it due to not looking stock. So, if they're direct fit to stock position that changes the game. Did you ask for an estimate on twin 3076 rwkw by any chance? -

Private seller locally. Yeah had a look overseas for what they're worth, i think here they're something like $2400 or so I had it for sale for a while for cheap and it's in basically new condition, there's only 1 small 10c size mark on it. But decided to keep it cause I'll eventually be able to use it -

How do you go about having full rego on the car with that seat and it's head restraints? In NSW I have a seat like that and no one will engineer it -
From RBR; In only it's third season on the calendar, Abu Dhabi already feels like a firm Formula One favourite. Especially with us at Red Bull Racing. In 2010 it was, of course, the place where one of the most dramatic ends to a season played out. Going into the race, Sebastian had only an outside chance of winning the Drivers’ Championship – Fernando Alonso was in the box seat with 246 points, followed by Mark Webber with 238 and then Vettel with 231. While Alonso and Ferrari’s eyes were on Mark, who they felt posed the biggest threat, Sebastian took full advantage to romp home first across the line. Alonso’s seventh-place finish, just ahead of Mark, wasn’t good enough and Seb took the title by just four championship points, to complete a memorable double title-winning season for Red Bull Racing. Seb tops the list of those who have triumphed at the Yas Marina Circuit – having won both grands prix there to date. In 2009 he finished a place ahead of Mark for our fourth 1-2 of the season. Being the most futuristic track on the calendar, and the sport's first twilight race, there’s always magic in the air when the teams go head-to-head in Abu Dhabi. The track itself was designed with racing in mind. As well as the waterside marina area, there are high-speed sections, tight corners for overtaking, and even a twisty street circuit-style sector. Overall, its diverse elements come together to create one of the longest and most demanding tracks in the world, where close and competitive racing is guaranteed. This is another anti-clockwise circuit and will put more strain on the driver’s neck muscles. There are 25 turns on its 5.554km lap. The race is 55 laps, a distance of 305.355km. Vettel's 2009 lap time of 1:40.279 is still the one to beat here. Abu Dhabi is an oasis on the edge of the Rub Al Khali desert. From five-star luxury hotels on Yas island, to camel market in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi is full of contrasts. The largest and wealthiest of the United Arab Emirates, while it has retained many of its local traditions and charms, it's still progressive. Oh, and has great musical taste. Where else in the world would you get Britney Spears, The Cult and Sir Paul McCartney playing at a grand prix? Exactly.
