  1. Last post from me in the 2011 thread, bring on the 2012 season! From the Formula 1 Facebook page;
  2. McLarens new talent and on that topic, looking forward to seeing these two bump and grind carbon again
  3. You had your chance Williams, You snooze you lose. Kimi in 2012 and 2013; www.youtube.com/watch?v=hu8Uy9PkS5g
  4. It's done. Kimi is at Renault GP next year, if I wasn't on mobile I could put a pic in here
  5. All RB's need the longer oil pump drive. If you have bought the RB30 crank from someone who didn't get it straight from an original motor, it may have a collar fitted already. If the flat area on the crank that is the oil pump drive is around 3mm long (running down the length of the crank) you DON'T have the collar on and you should get one put on.
  6. Lol not in Australia, you can bet the other markets will have a sharper price than here
  7. I see your point but terrible examples there. That aside, surely the disappointment is from those people who as you've said don't like change, your point is that things develop and improve so we don't have the same old clunker, but that IMO is sort of the same thing those people are saying. Eg 20 years on Toyota and Subaru know the turbo exists, they know about 6 cyl engines etc. so why not "modernise" the 86 and put in something around 300hp or even 350hp and instead of trying to make the AE86 again, make something better.
  8. Oh man, those gear box failures cost me 2nd place. Bring on next year
  9. Yeah good point come on Kimi get back in a seat
  10. Let the thread begin! A comment from the commentators during the Brazilian GP about Kubica being available for a seat at Ferrari. Now that would be good to see!!! In addition to another season of red bull domination
  11. YES RBR FRONT ROW LOCKOUT What a way to finish the season
  12. The Ash megaphone wake up call needs to be repeated
  13. Yeah other clubs do 60, we prefer to make it better value for members instead of trying to make as much money as possible from the day
  14. Also, on track from 901am till 459pm. If someone doesn't make it to sign on or scruit in time they're going to lose a session at least as the emphasis is always on those that come on time instead of slowing the whole group down because one person wanted a few more minutes sleep in bed. Scruit and sign on times are all easy though, get to the track by 8am latest and you'll be right. Doesn't really affect you guys as you'll be staying at the track, it's more a rule for the guys up here who consistently are lazy and leave Sydney too late. Also because our scruitineers are entrants and it stuffs up their day haha so anyone late has to wait for them which is more than fair. It will be in the entry thread, but it's all simple stuff; Scruit starts at 730am Sign on starts at 730am Scruit ends at 830am Sign on ends at 830am Drivers brief 840am First group at dummy grid at 855am Track opens 9am There's 2 people doing scruit and 2 people doing sign on so it's all really smooth
  15. 40 cars max 4 groups usually or 5 depending on how many noobs Sessions either 13 or 10 mins depending on group numbers so one session per hour with 2-3 mins for cool down lap and time to get off the track No lunch break Timing yes usually but will be confirmed with price etc when the 2012 regs come out which I am expecting any time now Food mmm, well I go into town to the Paragon Cafe. It's 8 mins from the track. There is food available there but it can be a bit touch and go depending on what you feel like. Paragon though is always a safe bet or even any of the other shops on the main road in town. You'll always get parking outside your shop of choice on the main street so don't stress about that, there's heaps better parking than in Shep not that it's bad there. So if you want something from in town after your session drive straight to town (one road, 80 zone good for cool down anyway) get food then come back and you'll have a small break left before the next of your sessions
  16. There you go, so slowest goes first and the others follow behind - that way no need to worry about not having cruise control or speeding
  17. Maybe I missed it but what's the CR of your friends one? I know you said 2.5 more than yours but I can't see yours. Surely it's there and I'm just blind
  18. If you do a search in this area for wheel damage threads you'll see some council employees giving advice/stories based on real experiences I'd use the word "council" on the search form and it should come up. If I wasn't on mobile I'd do it for you
  19. Agreed. Better yet, make your mind up on capacity then give it all to someone who knows what they're doing and just pay the bill
  20. If you do, please post them up in here Do you know if they've got import approval or a delivery date for the road cars yet?
  21. Old school; New school; (Source JONSIBAL)
