Entry cost SAUNSW members: ONLY $55! Entry cost Non SAUNSW members: ONLY $75! The event will be run after run until 430pm, and considering most runs are under 1 minute AND that we're kicking off at 9am, thats a lot of runs This is a safe event where you only go as hard as you want to, there's no pressure, one car on a course at a time. Perfect for beginners to have a first try at driving their pride and joy off the streets. With that said, there's usually some friendly competition between mates which is great to watch Timing for the day; Scruitineering/sign on starts 7am Scruitineering/sign on ends 830am (dont show up at 825am, come with plenty of time to spare) Drivers brief 840am (mandatory attendance all drivers) Runs start 9am Lunch approx 1230pm depending on how the day is going (One hour) Runs stop 445pm Gates close 5pm Entrants please note: -All entered cars must arrive in time for and pass scruitineering, no exceptions. -All drivers must be licensed (AASA or CAMS) and show valid licence and expiry date at sign on. -All cars must have an insurance approved fire extinguisher secured within drivers reach. -Sidepipes are not allowed. Screamers/external gates venting to atmosphere are also not allowed to be entered. No exceptions (this is not my choice, I ♥ gate) -Entries are open now, entries close 5pm 10th February to allow time for officials to organise paperwork. -Supp regs and Entry Form are attached. Not sure if they're working on an R35 one (or maybe already released), but Link sell a great ECU that adjusts the maps on the go based on inputs from the ethanol sensor. Dom call Yavuz on 0296312470 and he can explain if you like

Yeah that was my first guess too. As if an F1 engineer who's told "you cant use hot blown diffusers" wont make the exhaust useful in another way - I'd love to see how far engineers can go if the EBD rules were relaxed

Yeah dont stress, I've done bald RE55's in the wet without issue, just go easy on the throttle

Hahaha that made me laugh. It's simple fact. If you prefer to go and run 5 times per trip to Sydney for $50 each time, enjoy! WSID are running the event, so IDGAF if it fills or not.

What the f are you talking about? At private hire days by 20 minutes into the day (no exaggeration) there is no more than 4 cars at the staging lanes. You get your slip then go straight to the start line again with less than a 1 minute wait for the couple of cars in front of you, or if you want to drag a friend then line up with the friend and go together. Virtually zero waiting is why the private days are good. Try getting that at an off street meet for your $50. 5 runs at a street meet for $50 or 40+ runs for $220 - you do the math. Edit; Given the rules for private hire, the sort of cars that sit on the transbrake on the start line generally dont come as there is a time cut off and those guys are too fast for it. A transbrake for 20 seconds, not 10 minutes, isnt a big deal anyway unless youre dying the 20 seconds (if that) it takes for that car to leave the line really doesnt matter over the course of the day.

John, have you got any dyno sheets from all of this please? So they can be compared to a typical Garrett sheet and both being on Australian dynos Also, given the chance would you go back to your previous setup? Based on performance only, not the cost
