  1. I can confirm the kay's on this car, as i know the previous owner and importer of this vehicle. It was rarely driven and immaculately maintained. It was the importer's own personal hand picked car.
  2. What are house prices like up there...lol "twoogle" is the nickname given to the car...our number plate TWO:06L was misread by a mate to read twoogl, he started it and it just grew from there. Its even listed in Fast Fours drag records list as "twoogle"
  3. We have a proffesional "sponsor pack" that we are circulating. Also since posting this thread two organisations have displayed a keen interest in a partnership with us on an event by event basis. So we will have to wait and see if its something we can both benefit from.
  4. Croydon Racing can look after whatever you need.
  5. mandrel bending does not distort the cross-section of the pipe...hence better flow
  6. it boggles my mind why you would combine such a heavy chassis with an engine with no bottom end torque.
  7. Mazda Roadpacer...Japanese Kingswood http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=11445
  8. Friday is for ANDRA tech'd cars and drivers only. Must have UDL licence and current ANDRA tech'd car to compete It will rain anyway
  9. maybe the rumors were correct...as i know the money invested in the car lately is not Mario's
  10. STD with N1 vents and a carbon "garage saurus" style lower lip would be the go.
  11. The DiRTgarage GTR of Paul and Stacey Diemar is to be retired from racing soon due to the inability to attract a major sponsor or workshop backing. This decision is made with the utmost regret but was, and is necessary due to the new arrival of baby Elsie. The financial commitment to continue with the car is something that we are not able fully support. The car will be "mothballed" for a 12 month period and the decision will be made then whether to return to the track. The car is due to appear on the cover of HPI and a full shoot and cover of Ignition DVD and one more track day to be announced as the final runs for the car. The cars most recent outing at WSID was world class and set a new benchmark for street orientated GTR's with a best of 9.97 @138 MPH 1.41 60' The car is 7th overall in the HPI drag records and is mixing it with such names as Jacobsen, Wilson, Munro, Woolett and Garcia. Its the only privateer car in the list and/or the only one without heavy sponsorship or workshop backing. A big thanks to the Australian Skyline community for their support in us and our car cheers Paul and Stace
  12. GTR700 has been put back together over the past few weeks...engine is built...chassis has been lightened and re-welded...should not be too far away.
  13. so good to see that pauly has finally learnt to do a good burn out........ stace xx
  14. only use two to hold the bar on...the other two are for the lower lip. 2rismo has covered the reason for the stockers and tyres...any wider and id start hurting driveshafts and other associated bits. thanks for the offer to help out last weekend...much appreciated.
  15. recieved and loom sent
  16. nice...may need them when i turn the gas on.
  17. 4 cable ties and two screws hold the front bar on...and do a damn fine job too. looking at the 1st pick i can see my clutch packs in the diff are just about rooted... there is clearly less smoke on the passenger side. time for the Nismo kit to be installed....might give me another 10th in the 60'
  18. yeah kahibah rd just around the corner from me
  19. CRD...on one particular day we counted 17...YES 17 GTR's in the carpark and workshop either getting worked on or waiting to be worked on. im sure that would have to be some sort of record...as i doubt you would even see that in Japan.
  20. ill start another batch..ok 1/ Silk_LA 2/ F u r i o u s
  21. thanks
  22. hope you guys have organised somewhere to have lunch/park at the Bay...not a real parking friendly place on weekends.
  23. i didn't build the car 6 yrs ago...that was when i bought it. The engine $$ were spent this year and i got great discounts. just making sure your aware thats all...no point starting to build a car finding you have run out of $$ halfway through, or cutting corners and having a busted car you cannot afford to fix. (ive seen this on here more times than i care to remember) im not having a go at your dreams...just don't want you to fall into the trap a lot of other people have. They end up spending a lot of money and finish with no car and dreams broken.
  24. Do you really understand the type of investment required for this level of performance? Its massive...I dont know the exact figure Mark and Russell has spent on their car but i know how much it cost us to get where we are and its almost a 6 figure sum!! (this of course includes the initial $37000 purchase price in 2001) Our engine bay has seen nearly $30 000 recently! You can do it on the cheap...but it will bite you hard when you break it. Do it right 1st time or do it cheap twice..or even three times. Doing it cheaply ends up costing you more than doing it properly, with the added heartache and headache's.
