  1. lots of good info there cheers steve
  2. yup, there isnt much i wouldnt do for one like that! looks amazing :-) congratulations
  3. hahaha, alright well for this unit to work in your car you firstly need the bracket that holds the unit into the dash (as this screen is slightly wider then a double din unit) which is simple enough, you also need the single din cassette player below is (as they work together for thing’s such as volume, cd stacker etc) probably also need to buy the CD stacker with it (if you don’t already have one) also in the boot in the drivers-left hand panel there is a whole lot of gear for the GPS, TV etc (i think) that needs to go with it, as well as all the wiring. the screen unit is used for touch screen climate control, GPS (which only works in Japan, but you can buy GPS dongles that plug in and will work the same way), TV (which once again only works in Japan as they are NTSC and we are PAL. but in saying that chook bought a NTCL/PAL converter and got the TV working in his stag check out this topic for a good read and more info http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=91085 ) and also this screen unit has a on-board CD player with touch screen control, so the screen folds forward, you insert the CD, push the screen back up and there is a full touch screen interface to control audio (but the volume is still used on the cassette player) you will also need the cover that goes around the screen and cassette player as its different to the triple din cover. also its a direct plug over from the single din climate control to the screen unit, so no wiring issues there. its a quality unit, the screen its self is fantastic, very fun to use and looks fantastic
  4. you can if you want to but i didnt.. like i said it gets a bit tight but you can defiantly do it with the column surround still on
  5. nice mate! glad to see you finally have the SAFC installed!
  6. as Mitch described its a fairly easy process.. at some points it gets a bit tight but once you get started its really easy.. most stuff are either clipped or screwed in.. i started by undoing these 2 screws (there’s one on the right as well). once you get this face panel half-off you have to unplug all the switches.. this was probably the most difficult part of removing it but if you got some patience then you'll be right. plugging them back in was fairly simple when you get that panel off, you’ll find the gauge cluster that is held in by 4 screws, simply undo the screws and it moves freely if you decide to take the cluster all the way out (i didn’t do this, i kept the cluster plugged in, there is enough slack in the loom for it to move around inside the dash),here are the bulbs to replace (not my picture, taken from the "for sale" thread for the lights) and here is the LED light (left) compared to the standard globe (right) sorry about the bad picture.. if you run into any troubles then ill take some better pictures and do a better write up.. Micah - nah i havent done the AC lights on mine because i dont have that unit i have the S2 satnav/tv pack (soon to be converted to the single din climate control but!) if you search through that thread you quoted me on i think they talk about how to do it and what to use.. if he cant come through with what you need then you can buy kits for the stagea climate control single din unit LED conversion from yahoo auctions
  7. pretty easy to switch if you can find someone to trade some people dig it
  8. hey mate, i just got a set of these in red http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=158385 great quality product, i have some pictues of how installed them somewhere, ill find them and post them up
  9. just waiting on some more pictures and information from the AM-Performance.. also might broaden the GB and organise some designs for skylines aswell i think its either going to be available in polished, or the powder coated + heat and oil resist paint in lots of colours (black, white, blue, red etc etc) obviously with the cross over pipe taking up alot of the room towards the rear of the cover, the design will be more focused at the front and maybe just some grill's under the cross over pipe, like this one so just a few ideas, one could just have the stagea double unicorn at the front, one could just have the stagea text, then there is all the performance brand's if that’s your thing (eg Nismo, HKS, etc) its really good because we can make it what we want.. ill post up when i have some more pictures and info
  10. you can get the seller to make the pipe with a different flage as it says in the ebay ad.. im sure he could do what your after i remember a few months ago i contacted justjap about a dump pipe for the S2.. they have been saying " its in development" for a while now.... it will be very interesting to see if you have some good luck with it fitting hope it works out

  12. Edit : NOW UP! follow the link http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=177294 ------------------------------------------------------------------- hey everyone hows it going? i have been talking to the owner of AM-Performance about some custom coil pack covers for the RB25 that he makes.. basically they are a metal cover with a custom cut pattern into it (as you will see from the pictures), powder coated with oil and heat resistant paint so nothing will be peeling off. also a variety of colours im looking to see if he can do the trade mark "STAGEA" text up the middle of the cover, also for a different design if he can cut the double unicorn stagea logo in the middle.. here are some of his previous products to give you a bit of a idea he has told me that the price will be $130 plus $15 postage (aus wide) for a minimum of 5 people, so im sure with more people we can get it cheaper still currently getting more information and pictures to give you all a better idea of what the product is, but just after rough numbers as to who would be interested? these look like a great product and as far as i can gather we will be able to make our own design's.. so post up and let me know if your interested cheers
  13. hey everyone how’s it going? im just after some R34 GTR gear, namely the bonnet (would prefer factory aluminium but would consider aftermarket) plus bonnet related stuff like the hinges, latch etc headlights its a long shot but inner bumper bar support, radiator support etc plus any little odd's n end's in the front half on the car.. please PM me if you are wrecking one or know where i can get these parts! thank you
  14. wow lots of different bits on that one.. any idea what sort of edition this is?
  15. g'day mate, iv got the Exact same problem and there has already been about 3 topics made in the last month about this problem the conclusion that these topics come to is (generally) that its the coils so in saying that there are 2 options to fix it, either buy new coils (standard, splitfires etc) or wrap your coils up in electrical tape or heat shrink apparently what happens is that tiny cracks start to occur in the coil pack casing which results in them earthing out onto/around the engine covers at high load... i haven’t done anything to fix it yet, but im hoping to buy splitfires soon to fix it replacing the plugs wouldn’t hurt either.. hope this helps
