i picked up a R33 S2 RB25DET (engine + 5 speed geardbox) for my project car for $2200, came without loom, turbo and manifold.. so it may be a stupid question, but whats the story/difference with short and long blocks?

may be a silly question, but why not use R34 rotors on a S2 RS-V? just seems like the natural progression of things, R33 parts for S1, R34 parts for S2..

i think the claim that its the most powerful/best etc R34 GTR in the world is obviously a bit much… but i think its more focusing on how it was shipped from place to place to get all this work done, and how the LHD conversion looks standard etc glad an australian workshop got a good mention! still a stunning car

wee back to the top can this (NGK/ NTK Part number OZA395-E2 O2 Sensor Nissan Pulsar N14/N1) be used on the RB25DET NEO aswell?

sorry to hear about your dad mate but it looks like your have yourself a very very impressive stagea

have you got a standard airbox? if you do, open it up and take out the filter, you'll find a pool of water at the bottom. as you said, when you put your foot down it does strange thigns, when the engine starts to come on boost it sucks some of this water (from the pool at the bottom of the airbox) which hits the AFM, resulting in instant power cut, really jumpy, splattery etc if its a pod then take off the pod and see if there is any water in the pipes/in the pod hope that helps

Just a few more pictures and stuff within the first half a hour they wanted to send a tug out to try and pull the ship free (just one tug… in those conditions..hmm) but once it got close to the break wall it turned around.. im surprised they even considered it, the waves were just insane, the tug would have ended up flipped or right next to this rig on the beach the 2 Westpack Rescue choppers where there, the white/blue NBN chopper was first on the scene (both on the ground and in the air) then the silver/red ABC chopper came in – and kept flying in NBN’s sight, then much later the red 7 chopper came in.. horrible flying conditions also there was about 5 jet ski’s put in the water, but they were more interested in getting air :-P
