hey dude, you got a turbo back yeah? how much quicker is your car now? i presume you get most of the power difference in the top end as the car is already in full flight?

Sorry if its been posted already but can anyone tell me how quick R33 S2 GTS-T would go and rough power figures Id get with turbo back exhaust and a shielded POD as only mods? I presume a tune is also needed.

Actually think of Mercs... they have only had projectors for like what? 3-4 years tops? Wtf? They are like a pinacle of German cars! While BMW have had projectors since late 80s!!!

Depends how you drive and how much TLC you give it. I NEVER ever rev my car past 2000-3000 RPM until she has warmed up unles I jump on the freeway but even then the car has been runing for at least a few minutes and I dont rev past 3000 RPM to stay on 100 KM/h. Then I see some dudes who rev the f**k out of their car while sliding out of the uni car park when the engine is still cold in their Falcon.

Dude your right. I admit ive done some stupid shit, heck Ive done 140 Km/h too but... ON A FREEWAY WITH NO CARS late at night! Id never do that kind of dumb shit in a 70 KM zone... more so with 6 people in the car! If I ever do stupid shit then Im alone in the car! I never dare to do that with passengers!

yeah I reckon my halogens light up the road nicely but they just look very old. and u are right, i think Nissan felt let down by projectors... but then why did they release S3 GTR with projectors and charge 2 grand for it?? its crazy how there is no one making aftermarket projectors for R33s... Holden has monaro and SS projecotrs available for like 300 bucks... why doesnt skyline have them for R33s??

Correct... you may want to consider changing the belt around 90,000 KM mark and definately NOT over 100,000 KM mark, reason being, Jap cars have most of their speedos wound back. And the LAST thing you want snapping is your timin belt, if it does, your engine is "capoot."

Well depends... if the engine is still good they MAY consider fixing it. I remember few years ago I was hit from behind by a P plater doing around 90 KM/H on Maroondah Fwy (I stopped in time before the lights went red but he decided its ok to go through red and smash into me) I was in a VS Commodore wagon and the back was smashed pretty bad. The roof crumbled up in the back but otherwise the car was OK. We had a newly rebuilt engine. The RACV guys said cos the engine is "new" they will fix it... otherwise would of been a write off.

Can you switch your climate control off and check if the whine is still there? I had too a whine of some sort and was convinced it was my tranny, after switchign the climate control off I realised it was a fan for the air con lol

Id go for Castrol Transmax Z. Ive just changed my auto transmission oil to this and the car feels great. It aint cheap: 65 bucks for 4 litres of it and you need 3 bottles for a complete change...
