  1. Yeah I get what you're saying. I thought everyone here loved the maca powder? Clearly no great impactfor you? Given how much impact the DAA had on me, I'm not opposed to the idea of a teaspoon of something not being able to affect me.
  2. If your sleep was that easily affected I'd agree for that person, mine is not. 6hrs or 9 has no bearing on how I feel the next day. The QUALITY of that sleep, however has a big impact as is obvious the instant I wake up. By that I mean how many times have I woken up, was it too hot, too cold etc. That will of course vary for others, but I'm neither light sleeper nor a log so the quality of my sleep can be a bit up and down.
  3. Mixed bag here. After upsetting my shoulder, I gave it 2 full weeks then had a light session which it didn't like, gave it another week and then had an even lighter session which was OK but then spend 3 days working on my sister in law's car to fix her aircon and had to skip another few sessions, so for 4 weeks I've done 2 shitful sessions. I've also had more than enough to eat and drink. My weight hasn't changed but my composition certainly has. On the plus side, I've been for at least 4x 2.5k jogs in the last 2 weeks without major ankle soreness. 2015 will be a slow and steady rebuild I think, plus I'll look to take the next step in ankle rehab/mobility and see if I can improve on that and get back to some half decent cardio (might get my exercise bike back too as I'm a shit squatter so bike will help with legs and cardio at the same time). Hope you all had good xmas and new years. Oh and completely stopped DAA, basically any dosage of it killed my sleep patterns and there was no other discernible gain beyond feeling more awake/alert/focused. I should try that maca root powder you guys mentioned, seems interesting.
  4. No, alarm is on the side that gets disconnected. The switch is in the off position in this pic. It's been suggested that putting both engine harness connections on the non battery side should be enough, or that the alternator can be pulling amps from the battery, however I'm pretty sure that testing last time (and I'll test again shortly to be sure) showed that having the two engine harnesses on the same side saw the engine keep running when the switch was flipped.
  5. Battery is dry cell for car with CCA rating above what's needed for this engine. Neg terminal corrosion is dissimilar metal spacer used there. AFAIK that shouldn't cause a current drain.
  6. I assumed as much also but I'm pretty sure (and will test again) that if the blue and red are on the same side, the car doesn't stop when the switch is flicked. Battery is next to new, 20 starts tops, well under 12mths old.
  7. What have I buggered up here? See pic then reference colours. Green - From Battery. Yellow- From Alternator. Blue - Engine harness Red - Another Engine Harness Purple - Fuse for car alarm/can be ignored. In this pic the switch is off, he car will not start, no accessories will turn on, fuel pumps not priming. However, I can go out after a week and find the car hard to start as battery voltage has dropped. I had problems with this setup originally and found this setup was the only way to get it to work, with the blue coloured engine harness on the other side the car would continue running when the switch was flipped. What have I stuffed up? Or should I have used a 3 pole switch and separated those two engine harnesses connections red/blue from each other and the battery. Here's a pic of the battery setup, pretty sure this problem existed before the surge tank went in, the trigger wire for the relay for the surge tank pump is the existing fuel pump wire, so neither pump primes unless they should be.

  9. I want to try one of those scans. In the meantime I'll just be here having my third week off. I had one light session attempt last week but pulled up sore so have just been enjoying the break. Itching to get back.
  10. Nice, thanks Terry
  11. I buy only from BN.
  12. That's something I struggle with too, wanting to support locals but not wanting to get fleeced. My last pair of outdoor shoes were $230 locally or $110 delivered from amazon...
  13. The lack of credible resources was something I noted too. I might think about it when my shoulder comes good and i start to get back into "loads" rather than light BS.
  14. Just a minor tendon strain. Have had one before, other side, and recovered fine over time. Had a big gym session on a Friday, then 6-7hrs in the yard the next day, then another the day after and strained it. Had a full week off so far after doing one session and it not feeling right. Will give it another week at least I'd say.
  15. Can't hurt to try I guess. Started trying DAA, immediate affect was keeping me awake so was working back on dose but injured shoulder before being able to tell if it helped.
  16. Mmmm, I'm a little skeptical... Why isn't this more widely known if it's the bee's knees.
  17. Never heard of it?
  18. Might have to, see who's open when I get a sec, bloody silly season indeed...
  19. Ahh yeah I remember you giving me some good rotator cuff exercises last time (different shoulder issue). This is, I think, the tendon between my elbow running up the back through the tricep and connecting to the bony point in the shoulder. Most notable at bony point now where as a few days ago most notable toward elbow.
  20. Nothing specific for rehab at the moment, just rest, some ice, and avoiding use until the general discomfort goes away. Not sure if any of those movements will aggravate it TTT, Can give all these things a try though and see. Cheers
  21. Can't hold squat bar in place without rotating shoulder to use arms = twinge. Can't hold onto bar to dead without having load go through shoulder = twinge. Bodyweight lunges maybe? Some swiss ball morning glory things (for back)? Trying not to even use my arm to drive the car..
  22. A full week off, shoulder still not feeling 100% =\ Trying to think about what other things i can do with my home gym that requires no shoulder use.
  23. Do you mean "IN" your bay from all the broken shit lol
  24. lol actually, back in the day when I had my 33, she liked the car but was most unimpressed with the fact I had to flog it everywhere lol, I beleive she said it was "embarassing". What do they know...
