hrrrmmmm.... I ran a search for "Codes" and it came up with 4 pages. Went through each but couldnt find any accept for the ECCS. GTRsean Please send, or better post here so other noobs like me can find it easier when hitting the search button!

Cant seem to find a list of fault codes for the 4wd on the GTR... ....can anyone help with a link or something?

If no-one knows what the Code 18 is, can someone point me in the direction of the list of codes/meanings????

Ok, i just checked the fluid level in its waaayy past the Full mark!!! Is that such a bad thing tho? Its only in the bottle yer? Also checked the flashing light under that control box thingo and it flashed 18 times before pausing and reapeting again.....What does that mean?

Ok, I searched 'attessa' and looked through nearly every thread there but none was close to my prob. On the R32GTR last night the 4WD light comes on only after the car has been driven (not hard) for approx 30mins and there is no torque to the front wheels. The clutch was changed a few months ago. Just found out that i can check for fault code in the boot and will have a go tonite. Is this always flashing? ...or do i need to bridge some pins? I thought it may be the fluid level, but if this was the case the light would be on constantly no? Can anyone provide any other tips or possible causes of the problem? ...i hope it isnt anything major Much appreciated

Excuse my noob question; ...but with these mines ecu's does it give you more power compared to stock? or in other words -If i put this straight into my 32GTR it'll go better?

Hello Hello I ran a search and had a look at some of the threads regarding a "whirring" or "whining" noise after the timing belt has been changed. Found it helpfull but my question is a lil more specific regarding RB26. The noise only seems to be apparent when the car is warm/hot....and sounds normal when initially started. Would it still be the idler tension bearings as stated in many threads? ...or just the belt itself? If it is the bearings, is there any chance of seizing? ...the timing belt was done not too long ago. Also, how much would i be up for if i got someone to replace it for me as its a lil embarrasing driving a nice GTR making weird noises

Just in response to some of the common questions asked.... -The sunroof is genuine Nissan, so it goes up/down and back/forth -The interior is spotless with no cigarette burns. There is no rub marks on the drivers seat from getting in/out -Wont take any swaps...as said in first post, need cash for GTR Cheers

On the topic of Julien Edger's review; i think it is a lil biased. A good (car) review would look at the negatives AND the positives so as to give a better overall picture. And so it is for this reason u cant really take his word for gospel just like you cant take some peoples words on here as gospel either...no offense ppls Im in the process of getting a 32GTR myself.... I think the best way to find out what its problems/negatives are is to go back throught the threads in the various forums and see what people posted. It will give you an idea where their common problems are and how to fix/prevent.

So does that mean that my current 1993 R33 GTST has this "design flaw"???? Yep, i've definately seen this in many threads on the forums.... Thanks for the info pplz. The GTR's i got my eye on are already in Melb which will give me the advantage of getting a compression test and leak down test just before purchase. Although i will loose a few $$$ buying one that's already landed as compared to importing myself, i think its worth it if it insures i dont get a dud.
