  1. AHAHAHA Ya Ya thats the one. I was doin my head in thinking what his name was EDIT:
  2. Yer i payed the same last financial... ...i might grab the details of that tax dude off ya ....mmmm instant 18K *drools*
  3. True True ...but then wouldnt the Ambulance Cover you can get for $120 p/a cover ya? I had broken my ankle a couple years back and went to the public hospital where they fixed me right up. No fuss, no hassles....and i didnt feel like it was "sub-standard" treatment. Hence why i cant seem to find a *good* reason to have it. *shrugs*
  4. Just curious to know, how much ppl are getting back on their returns and if anyone uses any of the major tax brokers... AND Does anyone here have private health insurance? Who with? What benifits you get? I've been thinking about getting it for a couple years now but cant see the benefits of having it to be honest. The way i see it, either pay $800 to the taxman or $800 to private health which gives you no real gains anyways. I got pwnd last year for earning above 50K and was only left with a measly couple hundred bucks
  5. I cant help but think it looks somewhat like a comic hero??? ...Phantom??? *shrugs*
  6. Ya rekon? I think it'll be alrite, we'll see when we get some better trailers comin out how it is. Ya. I was hooked on 'Hitman 2 - Silent Assassin' at one stage. But when they brought out the one after that (Contracts & then Blood Money) it got a bit full on for me as i wasnt patient enough to carry out some of the elaborate missions.
  7. My above post edited with a couple extra.... ...i'll see about coming down to an SAU photoshoot day for some nice piccys P.S: Subscription form is going in next week
  8. Yes its old news, but i only just found the trailer....looks not too bad actually.... Trailer here: http://www.hitmanmovie.com/ P.S: Comes out on my b'day 12th Oct :sorcerer: kthnxbai
  9. Bah, here's a couple i took the other day... Sorry about the size...even when you open em you still gotta zoom otherwise it looks a lil pixelated. ....i'll post up some car pics when i get home. EDIT: Cheers guys ...Looks like i must've deleted the car pics i had from the other hard drive ...i've only got these couple of which were done with my old camera so they're not very good Again, you gotta click on em otherwise they look a bit pixelated. My old R33 GTR
  10. Im not a member yet so i cant access that link... ...would you like me to upload some foto's here?
  11. LoL, ya i realised it was moved this morning, didnt read the forum sub-sections as I thought it was a similar layout to Victoria section.... Anyways.... I realize i would have to go through an induction process, as you would with alot of worksites these days. Ive carried out more than a few at the place im at now Sorry i cant divulge that kind of info at the moment ....but i just got my group certificate back and i made 80K last financial. So if i were to go for a mining job it would have to be 100K minimum considering the inconveniences. Cool. Thats the kinda info im after as it gives me a place to start. Now, what i need to know, are -Locations! -Locations! -Locations! Where exactly are the mines/accom locations? What are the popular ones; the less popular; the yet to be discovered places? P.S: Cheers for the replies so far guys
  12. Currently i live in Melbourne and i was watching 60 Minutes last Sunday and seen the story on ppl going off to the mines earning 100K+.... No experience is generally necessary as they would train you up to perform ur job eg: truckie, cranes, etc, and from what i hear from other ppl sometimes they set you up with accommodation also. After a couple of years working there, enough money would have been made to set themselves up for life or at minimum, get them one step ahead alot quicker. So would anyone know where you could go to enquire about positions/info? Or, does anyone here know of anyone else that has done/going to do it themselves. Im thinking of moving up from Melbourne but i've got no idea where to start.... Something i would prefer to get into would be some sort of Clerical, Administration/Security, Comm room operator or equivalent......I did a brief search on the net but could only find positions for those with experience in certain fields ie: Mechs, engineers, operators, etc.

  14. Excellente! I've been looking at other home gym units, especially the ones on ebay which look to be similar quality at a slightly cheaper price but with a few extra excercises. But on closer inspection, i noted that the ebay unit http://cgi.ebay.com.au/New-Multistation-Ho...1QQcmdZViewItem do not have an adjustable chair for performing the benchpress. So for that lil extra im gonna go for this unit http://www.crazycheapfitness.com.au/?stg=4...w=49&shpc=3 which is similar to the one i had when i was living at home. Not as many exercises as the ebay item, but its got that critical adjustable part..... Apologies for thread hijack ....but i'd say home gym might be a better/cheaper option.
  15. Where is this place you speak of? ....shoot me a PM if u dont wanna mention here
  16. Crimes Act 1958 Section 456AA. Requirement to give name and address (1) A member of the police force may request a person to state his or her name and address if the member believes on reasonable grounds that the person— (a) has committed or is about to commit an offence, whether indictable or summary; or (b) may be able to assist in the investigation of an indictable offence which has been committed or is suspected of having been committed. (2) A member of the police force who makes a request under sub-section (1) must inform the person of the grounds for his or her belief in sufficient detail to allow the person to understand the nature of the offence or suspected offence. Like i said in my earlier post, they would have taken ur details to help them in any future investigations. So in this case it comes under Sub-section 1 (b) and by informing you about the increased crime in the area the officer has satisfied Sub-section 2.
  17. The reason why details are taken down is so that if something occured in the area say 10min before or after the Police left they can come and see you to help them with inquiries as they know you where there...

    So And So

Even then the amount thats covered is often very limited. A car dealer tried to offer warranty when i was looking around for my 32GTR. But when you have a good read of it, the motor is only covered upto $1000 worth. Im no expert, but im willing to bet that a rebuild of my motor would cost alot more than $1000 should something go wrong....
  20. Love the engine bay pic! .....good work!

    Tram Cams

HaHa...so true! Seriously though, ....I think they are using a band-aid or reactive solution to the problem rather than taking a pro-active approach. You can even apply this to speeding, road tolls, etc, -more Police presence on the roads is required as it has a pro-active approach. The use of cameras is favorable only because after its initial installation cost the upkeep is significantly cheaper compared to a few hundred extra Police officers wages every year.
  22. Ok sweet, thanks guys. I'll give them guys a call next week
  23. When you click on the heading SAU VIC Documents it re-directs you to the Forum index. Why is it there? Is it just to fool people? .....I noticed the counter of ppl fooled i mean re-directed is 2556. Have i just opened a can of worms by stumbling on what seems to be the tip of the iceberg of an elaborate conspiracy theory concocted by the evil overlords in a bid to achieve world wide domination whilst cleverly having their humor entertained? ...i think i may be onto something. /end X-Files theory.
  24. When going from 3rd to 4th if i try slam it in it crunches. But if i ease it in gently its ok and doesnt crunch. If it is the synchro, am i doing damage to the gear when it crunches? Im gonna be looking at putting some Redline Shockproof in as it seems every thread recommends it, but i would also like to know how much it would it roughly cost to get someone to fix ALL synchro's if its needed? All advice appreciated.
