  1. WTF ?? I'm with lingeringsoul on this one. I also think it would be a better thing if they were dead. Thieves are scum. There's nothing more to it than that. Scum ! Considering that these idiots will soak up tax payers $'s while in hospital, and then through the whole trial and conviction period, and then probably get out after 12 months of soft time and re-offend anyway, it would be better for the community ( and planet for that matter ) if they "were" dead. Consider this. These scum stole someone's pride and joy. A car that someone "worked hard" to get and modify to make their own. They then used this car to commit crimes ( at least one that we know about ) and then drove that car at stupid speeds and in an unsafe manor, endagering other lives around them in an attempt to get away from the cops. Imagine if they collected one of "your" family members while trying to get away and condemed them to a bed or wheel chair for the rest of their life or killed them. Really, think about it. It was just pure luck that these scum didn't kill someone while trying to get away. My point is, if these dickheads never took the step to becoming a criminal in the first place, it would be a better world, and considering the pathetic ineffectiveness of our laws and the amount of blind tolerance "do-gooders" have for criminals, it would have served the world in a much better way if they were dead IMO.
  2. Ahhh so that's what it was !! We were driving home this morning @ 4am M5 north and the River Rd exit off the M5 was closed and lit up like a xmas tree. Yeah, whoever was involved I hope they spend a long time behind bars without lube ! ( or worse ). Wonder if the car was stolen off someone on this forum ? Would be a fcuked way to start the new year.....
  3. Yeah, just saw that too. Just what we need ! 1 dead & 1 injured ? So is it someone off the forum ? Name and shame !
  4. Congrats Stan !! It's gotta feel good to no longer be known as a P plater ( no offence to those who still are ).
  5. Just stumbled across this thread and F*** do I feel old now !!! Stan, I got my license 1 year before you were born !! Anyway, hope you got it ! ( and keep it ) ( and no, there won't be any "back in my days" comments from me ).
  6. Cleaning out the garage again so......... 1 x Strengthened R32 GTS-T Clutch Pedal Box Assy Suit heavy duty clutch applications. SOLD Cheers.
  7. Hi, Yeah, 8" on the front and 9" on the rear. And yep, the guards were rolled front and rear since the car was lowered. If you fitted more narrow tyres to the rims you wouldn't need to roll the guards ( eg 215 Front & 235 Rear ). Cheers.
  8. Hi, I don't know the exact weight of the 17x8's but they are around the same weight as an R32 GT-R wheel. For an aftermarket wheel ( that's not top shelf ), that's pretty light ! As for where they're made, I don't know. The sticker on the inside of the rims with Japanese writing on it is a Japanese standards approval sticker if that means anything. JAWA ( Wheel devision ) is like JASMA ( Exhaust devision ).
  9. Other way around. $200 for the 235/45/17 pair & $300 for the 255/40/17 pair pick up.
  10. Last price drop. Refer 1st post.
  11. GROUP BUY !!!! Nick, if you slide me the details I'll see about a group buy discount. Cheers
  12. BINGO !! Do you know if you can you ge them anywhere in Aus Nick ?? Steve, do nissan sell these ?
  13. Does anyone even know what I'm talking about ??
  14. Thanks for that. Is he mobile, or where is he based ?
  15. LOL, went past Autosport this arvo and saw a white R33 GT-R with the exact same 17x9's as these ! They fit perfectly on a GT-R
  16. As per the title, Who's a really good car detailer in Sydney ( south preferably or mobile ) ? The main thing I want is someone who's good with buffing & polishing the paint. I could do it myself ( by hand ) I'm sure a professional would do a much better job. I'm not a huge fan of handing my car over to a panel beater since the last time I did that I gained an extra scratch and some over-spray Can anyone recommend someone based on YOUR personal experience ?? Cheers
  17. OK, I've just been told what the correct offsets are ( I hope these are correct ) so I'll amend the first post to reflect. and.... I've just been told that the 17x9" +17 offset will fit well on R32 GT-R and perfectly on R33 & R34 GT-R's.
  18. Hey Christian, I was looking for $800 for the four 17" x 9" wheels without tyres but I will be looking to have them sold by early next year ( need storage space ) so the prices are becoming more negotiable I think the offset is +25 but I can't decipher the code on the back of the wheels enough to confirm this. More than happy to play trail fitting if you're / anyone's interested. They have a pretty big x factor so should clear your calipers no problems. The tyres are TOYO Trampio Gu:wn ( TPG ) Silica tread and very firm shoulder blocks. Two 235/45ZR17 97W and Two 255/40ZR17 94W Cheers, Scott.
  19. Pete, any left overs for R34 as we discussed ? Cheers.
