  1. Didn't ask since they didn't have what I wanted but feel free to call em on (03) 9845-0800 I know for a fact that Autobarn Bankstown stock fan spray ones with LED's and some silver/bronze coloured ones without LED's if that's any good to you.
  2. Put me in for a maybe ( 1 car, 2 peeps ). Need to check with boss lady first.
  3. Man that all sounds v/suss to me I used Redline Shockproof Lightweight in my box for years and with track days etc it never changed in any way. Only complaint was poor shift quality when cold and after box was rebuilt. Now, even "IF" you the gearox oil did blow out the breather, it should never have been able to get into the bell housing itself ! It might cover it but should not have got in. As for the clutch not working, my quick guess is that you might have the wrong release bearing carrier to suit that clutch. I'll reserve judgement on the rest of my theory......
  4. Cheers I'll give it a go and report back. I called Australian Auto Accessories in VIC and they don't stock them any more. Only have the LED ones.
  5. Yeah, I think I'm gonna have to do some investigation. I need 3 pairs myself
  6. Hi stereo guru's. Just want to know if there is such a thing as a harness that interfaces between the R34 stereo wiring and a JVC head unit ( straight plug-in harness ) ? I know I need a Aerpro AP348 aerial adaptor but would love it if there was a straight plug in harness the goes between the two so I can do the job myself ( I couldn't solder to save my life ) BTW The head unit I just got is a JVC KW-XC405 Double DIN unit. Any help would be great !! Cheers. Oh, and I did try searching but couldn't find what I needed
  7. Not good But while you are in the area, make sure you replace your rear main seal ( the one on the back of the crankshaft ) ! If you want a really driveable twin plate I can recommend the new O.S.Giken twin set-up. I had a STR2CD in my 32 and it was live a stocker to use and only got a bit bighty when it got really warm. About $2,100 for the complete set-up. But if you can stretch right out there, go the twin plate carbon setup by O.S.Giken. Friggen awesome to use ! Otherwise, go with Jim Berry for a much less expensive option Anyway, you better start sucking up to the treasurer ( HARD )
  8. Yeah but they are all ghey light-up ones
  9. 235 Toyo's are sold & remaining wheels & tyres ARE ON HOLD Potential buyer will be test fitting soon. Cheers.
  10. All PM's responded to ( or I called those who left a mobile # ). Cheers.
  11. Need some belts joe http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=149195&hl=
  12. You heard anything back from them yet ? Got a number and I'll give em a call if you want. Cheers.
  13. lol, don't panic just yet ! If it is gearbox oil, it's prol from the extension housing seal ( that seals the output shaft to tailshaft or maybe even as simple as a gearshifter boot that's split. Either one will drop oil and both are not too expensive to fix
  14. All PM's replied to. Cheers for the enquiries Just to clear up one point that a few have asked about. I firmly believe that the 17x9's would not fit under the front guards of a GTS-t ( but will fit the front of a GT-R ).
  15. So what's the trick to get the pistons back into the calipers safely when ABS is fitted ?
  16. Would not use one of these personally since there's no dampener built into it as there is in the OEM, NISMO & C's ones. The dampener is built into the stick itself under ( part of ) the counterweight and helps to shift cleanly and as you can see, this shifter doesn't have a dampener built in. I have owned and used a C's one which is about a 25% - 30% shift throw reduction and works great. To get the full benefit's your syncro's should be in top condition. Also owned a NISMO one which is about a 10% - 15% shift throw reduction and works great but doesn't feel much different from the normal one. Just my 2 cents.
  17. Last chance before these go to eBay
  18. Cheers. So who was I talking to ? Thought it was Steve .... Meh, at my age my memory's not the best Anyway, good to know all is well and under way
  19. Of course I get worked up easily, I've been a victim more than once and am sick of seeing people have to come on this forum pleading for help & stating that their car has been stolen or broken into ! This kind of stuff just shouldn't happen. True, it's not my car ( or your car ) that was stolen ( THIS TIME ) but I feel the pain that other's feel when this stuff happens. BTW, I'm too old to become a cop and considering how pathetic the laws backing you up are ( as a cop ) I wouldn't want the job. Oh and "start building a bridge" ? Is that like one of those corporate catch phrases like "Get out of pity city" & "put your excess baggage in the amnesty bin" etc etc ? I'll leave that question open to anyone who wants to answer it. Me personally, I'll do what I have to do, when I have to do it. Read up on Chopper ( no pun intended ) and then you'll understand what I mean. What he did and why he did it. As for me, I'll reserve comment. I hope for your sake that you are never on the receiving end of a substantial crime but if you ever are, please come back and re-visit your opinions I feel very sorry for anyone who's been on the wrong end of crime, and for those who haven't, I hope you never are. Anyway, I'm done debating on this thread.
  20. The point I'm trying to make here is that I'd bet my left one that these 2 particular individuals have committed more crimes than just this one ( which is actually about 5 or 6 criminal offences in one event ). I find it hard to believe that these two were complete angels prior to this event. There seems to be quite a few angry people posting that have been affected in the past . Coincidence ?? Guilty until proven innocent ? Maybe but that's what you get when you show the world you're thieving scum. Ask Chopper Reed ( sp ) Anyway George, we'll just have to agree to dissagree on some points
  21. For many people, it has happened to them ( to some degree ) so they feel the pain. Quiet often, insurance will not fully cover what you've spent and surely it never cover's all the time you have personally invested ( blood, sweat & tears ). I agree 100%, but wouldn't it be nice if insurance was only needed for the odd fender bender ? ( and not because someone POS stole your car, thrashed the nuts off it, sold parts off it, used it to commit crimes and then destroyed it ? ) Anyone who's spent some time in Japan will know just how pleasant it feels to be in a country with minimal crime. It's such a shame that we can't import some of those standards with the cars That's the problem, they will "never" be left to rot in prison and if you actually see how crims doing soft time live in prison, you'd be amazed ( and disgusted ). Are we sure about that ? Given the "opportunity", I'd say most would love to But since that's not likely to happen, this is just an opportunity & place to vent. And what sort of life do you think you'd end up with ( and your family ) after being caught, convicted and sued ? True, but it's a topic that's pretty passionate to those affected Anyway, enough from me..... :end rant:
  22. Well I guess you're just another person who's never been on the receiving end of a subtantial crime ? ( And no, I'm not talking about someone who stole your screwdriver. ) And for the record, this "little shi7" is 39 years old, doesn't sit around playing computer games, has had a home break-in with a large amount of contents stolen, a fully modified car stolen and 2 other cars broken into with contents stolen. Once you've been on the receiving end of this scenario and you've seen just how incredibly useless the laws are when dealing with this type of situation, you'll understand people's deep seeded hatred towards those who offend time and time again and simply get a smack on the hand as they laugh in the face of the law on their way back out on the streets to re-offend. Change the laws ? What a great idea ! Except there's a whole bunch of people out there who preach that even a person who's committed a cold blooded murder has rights, that will stand in your way..... So, what's you're opinion on those who commit rape ?? ( for your own safety I suggest you don't answer that ) The people who usually commit the crimes ARE the animals and should be tread as such. I will always treat people the way they treat me. If you dissrespect people's live's and values, then you should be treated in the same way. If you choose to live your life stealing off those who work long & hard to get by/ahead, then your right to a place amoungst the rest of the population is severely questionable IMO. You are 100% entitled to your opinion and can add another 2c or $2M worth of religion and politics to this discussion but I doubt you will ever change the minds of those affected by crime.
