Um, the last time I saw the European Touring Car Championship Series it was like a demolition derby ( but on a race track ). And you can't tell me that there's no rubbing / nudging in NASCAR ?!?! And let's be realistic, a clean & non-eventfull race is wonderfull to watch from a tactical point of view but when it comes to holding the majority glued to their motorsport, it's all about action ! People want to see a bit of rubbing and nudging and the occasional off / roll. Most americans go watch the nascars "just" to see those spectacular crashes. And sprint cars ?!?! The only reason people go sit in the cold, getting sprayed with dirt is to see one of those "over the fence" flips. Why is Bathurst so awe inspiring ? 3 seasons in one day. Spanking a roo at the top of the mountain at stupid speeds. Having a wheel break away from a car and land in another car's windscreen. etc. etc. etc. Yes, from a driver's point of view it's all that you "don't" want but it's what people come to see time and time again and they are the ones who bring the $'s. My 2 cents anyway.

I agree with most here that Kelly is a pre-pubecent knuckle f#cker ( irrespective of what happened yesterday ) but I have to say, it's FORD vs. HOLDEN.......... Who "really" cares who wins ?!?!? I know Lowdes is a really nice guy and deserves to win etc etc but it's all about carnage !!! Fords & Holdens in an orderly, high speed demolition derby is just good entertainment Bring it on !!!

Um, I actually like the look of the Starcorps better... Meh, to each their own I guess The offsets ?? Mine seem pretty good. The rears only clear the calipers by about 1mm but I can live with that. I'll get some pics and post em up. BTW, I can't believe how well 275/35/18's fit in the back gaurds !! I could easily fit 295's YUM.

Oh yeah, they're HEAVY alright ! Compared to the A-Tech's I just took off they're like double the weight !! But it's all good and I got the "Shadow Chrome" ones which are not even plated. They are "painted" a grey shadow chrome colour with clear coat over the whole wheel so no chance of chrome peeling off these Since my new car is not for agressive / sports driving I'm content with these

As per the title. The ones that spray in a chinese fan shape/pattern instead of the oem 2 jets. No leds or chrome etc just want the plain black ones. I had a set in the 32 ( sold car with em ) Need a set for the 34 now. The last set I got in Japan but that's a bit far to go to get another set. Check Post #39 for buyers status. Well that pic really does her no justice at all ! And anyway, beauty "is" in the eye of the beholder. and "I" think this is pretty cute ! Irrespective of looks, any woman that can consistently pedal a 6,000+hp T/F car down a qtr mile at over 500kph gets my respect and admiration !! It just so happens that they are mostly good looking

I didn't even bother "dreaming" about owning something that nice when I was 16 That's a really good choice of car to help you learn car control and still have a world of fun. Nothing like the F1 schumaker !! The T/F schumaker is pretty down to earth and a nice guy to talk to Yeah they make the earth move. At one point in the pits there was more than 10 T/F cars running at once and it was a true sensory overload !! Here's just a few more pics. Don't know if anyone in here is interested in non-Skyline related Drag Racing stuff but if you are, here's a pic I just thought I'd share with you. I was over in Las Vegas last month to see the NHRA Nationals and scored this pic of Tony Schumacher just before he went out and did a 4.44sec pass @ 333mph.

Nice work Deren !! It's good to see someone doing a "sensible" resto, leaving the car looking awesome but still allowing it to be driven from time to time. I once helped a mate do a 100% complete restoration on a Torana XU1, and when we were done, it was so perfect that it was only good as a show pony / trailer queen and when it did finally see the road, it was amazing just how quick all that hard work was undone. But, really, what good is having a car if you can't drive it, right ? Keep up the good work I only wish I still had that level of enthusiasm

That's a bit harsh Shan....... Not everyone has $4K to spend on wheels & tyres and the Starcorp Impuls are a good looking wheel IMO. Actually, I like them better than the ones they're copied off ( except for the weight ). I couldn't find anything else I liked for the money so I ended up getting a set. It all comes down to personal taste and $'s.
