I have to wait till me head mech comes back from England before i start getting too serious If a piston blows now i just throw a cover over it for 6 months Let us know what sort of price you get your reg for Adam id like to know.. cheers mac

  4. It was bloody hot the other night i think everyone suffered... Strich9ine if Paul taps into your wastegate line boost has to increase... Just make sure your plugs are gapped to .8 just incase u ping or miss with the extra boost, u dont want those troubles if u are leaving the boost increase to the last minute..
  5. Hang on fellas..... U cant just jump in and point the finger. skylines high compression means that 15psi is about max for the engine...causing stress on alot of stuff with the high combustion pressures I have a decompressed head running 8.5:1 and retarded timing. Alot of skylines are running 18psi on standard pistons if u are looking out for them! 16psi would only be for the drags I run 12psi day to day anyway so the risk is GREATLY REDUCED! You run 16 all day it aint gonna last long for sure..

I think Im gonna try an 8psi run next time to see my difference in 60ft time.....I launch great with not much wheelspin so some of u guys with minimal mods and boost should be getting 2.1s Maybe i need to work out the 2 stage boost systym to give it 15psi as soon as i hit 2nd gear as with 8psi i dont even get a chirp GTSVSPEC......3800 launch?? are you crazy? Your turbo full spools at 2800 or something like that, Ive soon your wheelspin in first maybe u should lower the dump rpm

  9. Hey Adam Yeah put a adj fuel reg in then wind the boost up abit more. Thats what im gonna do altho cant boost it much more with the standard guts maybe 16psi wid dat turbo i have. Cheers
  10. I want my boot! so no surge tank! Um havent measured fuel pressure altho if it was a pressure problem it would arise when on hard boost not around corners
  11. Hey id give anything to stop that bloody sound! oh and as for the ducting the aircon stuff folds inside out at about 160kmhr on the strip. And i wouldnt worry too much about what material u use for a CAI i am gunna use alluminium sheet with a perspex lid Ur basic mission is to force cold air up and keep it in there will holding hot air out....So its not really a matter of what material u use as a partition...... Thats what my mum told me anyway.
  12. Its a brand new Bosch 910 fuel pump. As far as i know there are no drain plugs well none that i could see when i was going to drain the tank.....But if it was crap in the system it shouldnt happen only around corners i wouldnt think..
  13. Hey JimiH Forget the holes in your airbox those days are gone! the standard scoop is better flow than that, Pod and partition like the other guys said. The hotter the air in the hotter the intercooler temp will be as a certain intercooler might drop 30degrees rather than keep the temp at say 30 odd..
  14. Hey guys I get some sort of fuel cut when i dump it around corners it splutters then its off again. What do you reckon? When in a straight line its ok but sometimes does it between gears when my petrol tank is under half full! Got a new fuel pump installed not long ago maybe its come off the bracket and now sideways in my tank????????? Dont know what else it could be...... cheers mac
  15. Im with LoudBlueBMW Dunno about the weight tho as SR is fully alloy while CA has an iron block, So the SR also Revs more.

  23. You cant boost them up My r33 doesnt have a problem with the 10 yr old design T3/T4 the guys will confim that

  25. I didnt notice any performance difference at 15psi before or after AFC tune Dude.
