  4. Of course running no BOV wont harm the car... What do u think the older cars were running before BOVs? U will get turbo flutter and it does put a strain on the turbo but while u are trialling keep the boost stock and avoid quick changes just to be sure. Besides myself i know a few ppl who havent always run BOVs on their car.
  5. Joel so your car obviously ran ok with a tooth out? Could this be the same problem with my car as i can only get 7 degrees advance with the cam sensor turned fully clockwise. It pings over 10psi still tho? so its backed to 5 degrees

  13. hehe confusion.. There isnt a theory behind it.. And its a long one... you need to penetrate your tyres thru the water to get grip on the tarmac. The bigger the tyre the harder it is to penetrate thru u will find it may be easier to spin in normal conditions....... If you put your foot down of course the skinnier tyre ids going to lose grip quicker but if u have over 200hp at wheels i try to keep boost off I hit 10psi @100km down the freeway in 3rd and back swung out all of a sudden i was looking at the middle of the train line and skipped a few heart beats.... Still get your 265s there all good :burnout:
  14. 205s will probably be better in the wet than 255s you have more weight on less area which sticks to the road wider tires hold more water dry different story :-)

  19. Hey the wider the tyres the more trouble u will have with spinning in the wet More surface area on tyre easier to aquaplane Its a real bugga mine loses traction so easy in wet but is good in the dry....
