  5. heres a quick rundown of wat i got for my setup, keeping in mind the amount of power u want to chase determines how much u wanna spend. Forged Pistons Connecting Rods Bearings Gasket Kit Head Gasket Machining Injectors Fuel Pump Turbo Braided Lines and Fitting N1 Oil Pump Clutch JUN OIL COLLAR Fuel Reg Exhaust Coating Water Pump RB30 Block Exhaust Manifold External Wastegate plenum throttle body Q45 AFM CAMS CAM GEARS ur lookn at about 14-16k worth of parts. thats not including wat i have already PFC - 1500 cooler - 1000 (depending on type) pod - 100 boost controller - 500 (depending on type) full turboback exhaust - 2000 (depending on type) and so on. the above setup is for about a 500hp setup, using a gt3540

  7. okai from wat i can see your exhaust is hitting against the chassy and possibly against some sort of rubber goods. bring it to a shop to check that the exhaust is actually not against anything...and is secure. secondly the TSC is tracion control, if u suddently boot your car the computer will sense this and slow your car down....usually makn your car bob around a lil, which comes back to your exhaust not being secure. if u dont want TSC on...switch it off...and boot the car as hard as u like and it wont stop u. but be warned it may equal to you wrapped around a pole if u dont no wat ur doing my 2c

  12. i defiently did get the .82 housing plazmaman plenum 72mm tb 6boost manifold 800cc injectors but i am still running the standard cams.... how much better are these split pulse designs
  13. i think picking a purpose, rather then a power target makes more sense, but i get wat u mean. i was aiming for around the 350+ area, alot less if it was the standard 25, but since being a 3.0 i would hope that the increase in power wouldnt result in a big lag. only sway bars and new bushes..........i believe the standard nissan spings/shocks are perfect for going fact in a straight line. altyhough i still need to lower the car..... the engine is forged and is stroked to 3.0L, so everything youve said pretty much is good advice but properly just a extra size bigger on all the turbo sizes u mentioned. ive read alot about turbo selections on the 25 but my dilemma is exactly how well a 3.0L would compare with the same turbo ect ect. im still yet to cam my setup, but depending on how it runs without it......i may do it at a later stage...... should be gettn the car back in about a week or so (but we all know things happen) ill keep u guys posted. in the mean time more discussion would be great =]
  14. hrmmmm last thing i want is a lightswitch setup......being rwd n all. but then again im not fussed to much on peak power, more focused on usable power.....i guess theres a fine line before u cross into the other. reading so much about 3.0L and its hype on low down toque and its ability to spool turbos faster......i guess if that is the case, running a bigger housing wouldnt be to bad...... i guess i should 1st see how the gt3540 goes and base it on that...... btw paul, unfortunately i dont have enough money to buy a gtr, which is why its going into makn the gtt better.....at least try newai......

  16. im not sure if this has been covered properly but i wanted to ask the gurus what differences would be noticed when you compare eg (gt30 1.00 housing vs gt32 .63 housing) came about this question wen asking myself if i would later be upgrading to a T04z. any help appreciated
  17. as far as i know buddy u dont have to pay anythign for the EPA test, wen the summon u, u just take thwe car there they test ur emissions and ur done, depending on the car it could take anywhere from 5min to 40min. but from the sounds of things u dont have much to worry about. as for other options for the BOV, either plump it back or hide the atmo BOV is a place where no one can find it.

  22. im very very very certain tht midnight 3 is that.......but i could be wrong......midnight 1 and 2, are exactly wat was said, ones a lil green the others a lil purple......but i cant remember if ig ot em the wrong way around or not lol. the rims are okai.....te37 are soo overated these days man come on, every time dick and harry has one
