  1. here ya go. read the last line.
  2. its all about the quality of the product. you tend to pay more for HKS NISMO TRUST ect ect because they are made of the best materials. but in saying that you could get the same shit locally made out of the same matieral and save urself 300bux. and it would be the exact same if not better. in conclusion, cheap exhausts have a bigger chance of drone, less power ect ect. but at the same time if you know where to look, you could snap urself up with a bargain. we'd be able to answer your question alot better if u could answer these. Power wanted? does drone bother u? Budget? Current exhaust systeM? Current mods on whole car?
  3. bloody good find mate. one thing i have noticed about these videos is that they always seem to say the same thing. ppl in hotted cars deserve to get crushed. i wish someone would get interviewed and speak for the few of us that actually do drive normally. that do folllow the speed limit, and that dont break the law. and about how some police are dirty cops.
  4. if its not a R34 intended one. you need a AFM (air flow meter) adapotor....and the actual pod. visit any autobarn they can help ya out. if its a r34 intended pod....its bolt on no strings attached.
  5. f*k dat was pretty insane...... i can only imagine wat mine might do.......
  6. where abouts are u located in al? id be very interested in meeting up with u guys when my cars done to have a look. but yeh ill defiently give my turbo supplier a call, and ATP. is your car running yet?
  7. i wouldnt say it didnt do anything, it actually made the car a few 100 revs more responsive. but i get ur point, and it makes sense. i was under the impression that matt was running a gt35 with a .82 housing aswell but im curious about this exhaust housing exchange. how much does it cost?
  8. we obviously ran the car as it is supposed to be ran the 1st time, which brought our attention to the problem at hand atm. removing everything meant we were able to find the source of the problem. if u ran into a problem with everything attached, its impossible to find the problem. its the process of elimination.
  9. thats exactly wat im thinkin. how f*kn weird huh? its bloody making 15psi of boost with a gaping hole in the manifold. how do u explain that? other then the manifold is unable to flow air to the gate.... theres nothing Chinese on my car at all, although it would of saved me a ton of money....and everything is set up the same way as the tuner has done it with all his cars. but for some reason the added .5 of a litre is causing problems left right and centre. ill go have a look at the car on monday to see wats happening. and come back with pictures and dyno charts
  10. lol yes u are right dan but the problem is the car is not holding boost. it keeps makn more and more and more boost. so when i set the boost to 20. it shoots to 25+ the reason it does this is because the car is making to much air because its a 3.0L. and the manifold is unable to bleed off the air to the gate to reduce/hold boost. if you dont understand how boost is made, you wont understand this topic.
  11. hey kyle. my apologies for not explaining myself cleaer. ill try give it another go answering the questions that you have asked. as i havnt seen the car myself due to certain cercumstances i have gotten updates from my tuner instead. his told me that he has cut off the wg pipe that comes off the manifold and mounted the wastegate there(im not sure if he made a lil flange but he gave me the impression it was pretty close to the manifold) as soon as i can get a picture of the setup and dyno graph kyle i will defiantly post it up. no one wants this fixed more then i do trust me. what i meant when i said you never mentioned a 60mm gate was when i came to you asking for a manifold. not when i told u there was a problem. originally when i 1st spoke to you i told you my setup and asked you what you recommmended for a gate size for a initial boost target of 20psi. you said a 44mm gate should be more then enoguh. so i buy the gate and set everything up, only to get this problem. and your solution was now a 60mm gate. not trying to make u look bad kyle but i sorta feel a bit down about that. as for the magical 5psi. i merely meant that if we modified the manifold to where it was only producing around 5psi of boost with no gate on it, i would cut my losses and accept that. originally i wanted a manifold that would make no boost wat so ever but with the amount of trouble this has caused i just cbf. the only reason why i turned down your offer of a 60mm gate + a modified manifold, was because a 44mm gate should be big enough......theres countless setups that i have looked at (obviously not as much as u) that all run 44mm gates and are able to hold as lil as 10psi. everything points to the manifold. and i was upset that i paid money for a manifold that wasnt doing wat it was supposed to do. the fact that i have to spend another 500bux wen it should have worked in the 1st place is wat upsets me. i budgeted this project with a limit....and its going more and more over....i jsut dont wanna spend anymore money when it should already be workn. like i said above kyle absolutely no offense to you what so ever. i just feel jibbed that i bought a manifold off you, was recommended to use a 44mm gate...and the combination hasnt worked...and now is costing me extra to fix. id be more then happy to speak to you privately about the matter, just call or leave me a msg/email anytime. otherwise ttus
  12. hahahahha, sighs.....dont even joke about it =[
  13. no no no, i dont want to run 5psi. i want the manifold to hold a max of 5psi with no gate. because we already identified that it was the manifold that isnt able to bleed off enough gas to the gate, which creates infinite boost. with the gate on and and set to .9bar from the wastegate, it made 15psi at 4000rpm and kept rising. you could tell by the boost cruve that it would kept on going, even past 20.
  14. actually its a gutted cat......=]
  15. the manifold was designed with the wg port on one side.....which was a lil weird because it looked like it was only able to get air from one side. which is why we made another one in the centre that catches from all sides, that merges back later previously boost wen spiking over 15psi and still climbing with no end. but now its taping off at around 10psi and then holds at around 13psi. which is okai but id rather see it down around 5psi.
  16. unfortunately its not. we chopped the port off complete so its running straight from the manifold. it did help....but still overboosting by 10psi......which i guess is livable....but still shouldnt be happening....and i dont want it happening but i shouldnt need do. theres 1500hp cars out there running a gate off a manifold with no issues at all, why the hell should i need to do it. and its a shit way of doing things, to messy and no room. basicly it feels backyardish its alright buddy, and it has the manifold with no wg at all, with a big gapping hole is still over boosting, so even if i did put the wasstegate back on, checked the spring and everything. it wont change anything the manifold is not bleeding enough air quickly enough to the gate....for the gate to do its job. it has nothing to do with the gate. its simply the manifold. the question now is how to get the manifold to flow enough, whether it be slammin the gate onto the exhaust housing, makn the wg port bigger on the manifold or dual porting it. which i have tried all except the exhaust housing one(which i dont want to) and have all failed. im thinking about possibly increasing the size of the dual ports.....and seeing how that goes.....
  17. it is useless, especially if the hole is still only 44mm wide.....which is why we made a 2nd WG port in the middle of the manifold that captures air from all cylinders. but still didnt work. might have to machine the manifold and the 2 gates to possibly 60mm and use a 60mm gate
  18. as topic says boys
  19. are u f*kn seriously just tryna piss me of off ash? or u clearly jsut cannot read? gtfo.........u aint got nothing useful to say its not split pulse and yes u are right the wastegate port is one sided, which is why we made a 2nd wastegate port in the middle of the manifold so it gets air from all sides. Which then murges back before the wastegate. but still over spikes. no i dont =[
  20. i understand wat your saying about the 1bar gates and removing the spring, but it dosnt matter if the manifold is boostspiking with NO GATE at all. spring or no spring it aint gonna make a diff. but its interesting that u only now mention a 60mm gate. i remember calln u and askn if a 44mm gate would be sufficiate enoguh for my setup. my tuner said it was, you said it, even other setups list a 44mm gate. and all of a sudden the issue pops up and the answer is a 60mm gate. modified the manifold for dual ports, cut the wastegate port off, and running with no gate. still overboosting. but it taps off at around 10psi and slows down to 13psi. which is alot better then before. f*kn dont know wat to do anymore apart from gettn a whole new manifold (which is bs) and a new 60mm gate (which is even more bs cuz we dont know if it will fix the problem)
  21. well results are in. modified the manifold for dual ports, cut the wastegate port off, and running with no gate. still overboosting. but it taps off at around 10psi and slows down to 13psi. which is alot better then before. f*kn dont know wat to do anymore
  22. hows it going guys. sorry its taken me so long to jump back on. i was emitted to hospital last Thursday and just got out today. the manifolds should of been sent last monday and delivered within the week. ill have to give kyle a call to see wats going on. i assure u that ill get it sorted..... not feeln the best so give us some time guys. if you would like to find out sooner please give kyle a call and tell him your from the group buy and waiting on your manifold.
