was driving last nite and noticed the engine light flash for a second. and noticed the knock reading on the power FC read 60. 1st time its happened but was wondering wats a safe level of knock, and wat isnt

i guess its a 2 way street on this one. good on ya for being able to fix it but wat a pain to get coolers in and out. it wakes up a few of us guys who are running holes under the batt tray for cooler pipes. makes you want a gtr more and more gl with the rest of it buddy

the stealth GFB bov is a 2 way bov. you can turn the thing to be either full plumb back (which is legal) or full atmo. problem is if a popo looks at the bov and sees a venting trumpet. theres not much u can do to convince him its plumbed back.

it dosnt help that your cars wine red colour aswell. it helps alot if you have black/silver/whites they seem to the biggest demand its not really the price thats the problem with r33s. the problem is that you can always find one cheaper, and better....somewhere.... seems to be the thing with r34s these days aswell =[

people who complain about a screamer pipe leaking hasnt got a properly made screamer pipe. your suppose to separate the wastegate side from the exhaust side. that way when exhaust gasses pass through normally you dont get a leaking noise. and wen the gate opens. you get the scream. honestly anyone out there who wants a properly made Screamer Pipe made for a factory Internally Gated set up PM me ill shoot u the guy who makes em. they dont leak they sound great its highly illegal. and unlike a few....i do have 1st hand experience

proberly because they think ill be back a week later asking them to make another exhaust cuz i got defected for this. but i dont understand how that is a negative. it means more work for them, which means more money. and wat happened to cust is always right. if i want straight pipe. just f*kn give it to me

ive always had a screamer on my car. with the factory turbo and with the new gt3540. they obviously sound alot better on a bigger turbo with a ext gate. but they still sound great on a factory turbo imho. ill upload a few youtube vids for you to see. who ever said they lost power putting a screamer pipe on is a bit weird. the idea of a screamer pipe is to releave back pressure which = better performance. how much is debatable. if your losing power get a retune. a screamer pipe will only open wen the wastegate opens. on factory setups this can be quite random as they tend to open earlier when they are suppose to. the theoretical process of a properly set up screamer pipe. will only open at FULL BOOST. if you have your car set to 2psi. it will open at 2psi. same as 10 or 20psi. i have a 60mm ext gate and only opens at 15PSI. so i pretty much have total control of when i want to gate ppl. to give u an idea of wat a car sounds like with a screamer/ext venting gate i know alot of people are against these things, and i sorta feel bad for all the greenies out there wen i plant by foot. but in all honesty. nothing beats drowning out a V8 and pulling away leaving him to eat dust. on the track of course.......................

i was with jsut cars until a few months ago when GIO did a better deal. but it was all the same. i told them i had a aftermarket ECU. they said yep thats fine. both GIO and Just Cars im assuming that they only void your insurance if the modification is a direct result of a accident. but thats my guess. but they defiently said okai....=D

unfortunately his right, but the design of the stealth BOV is so that its harder for cops to defect you.........well its supposed to anyway. you can argue that its plumbed back......alot of cops will think its okai but ull pump into the odd few who will put up a fight.

alot of shops actually refuse to make those sort of exhausts. i rang up quite a few asking for straight pipe designs, they dont wanna make em.....=[ maybe its just me but they just sound weak.

STRAIGHT PIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE nuff said stay away from hks silent and trust exhausts unless your getting titanium. they are the pussiest exhausts alive.

f*kKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK ur gone mate. i dont know if the rest of SAU remembers this but this same shit happened to me about my cooler. said that it might interfere with my airbags and that the car needed to be crash tested. i went to like 4-5diff vicroad offices to clear this thing and was turned down. engineers didnt wanna touch it. but i ran into some luck with a buddy at vic roads hooked me up. i say good luck buddy, the only way i see u gettn out of this is emoving the cooler and welding up that hole u cut. its a pain i know but might be the only way. cheers

i dont think you can jsut cut a wire. but can i ask why would u want to remove the 180km so badly? do you do alot of track work? or is it just a street car? if ur planing to mod your car in the future just hook up a power fc

my alarms got a inbuilt turbo timer so speaking on personal experience no. if your using 2 different aftermarket products. the only thing the turbo timer might to is delay the time wen the immobilizer kicks in.

thanks buddy its funny u should mention it im hooking up a output singnel from my DVD screen so it can display TV and DVD movies ect. isnt very hard considering the worst is over. ill proberly have it done by the end of the week. will keep u posted =D Alpine W200 right? gosh thats a coincidence, im also in the south east. if you ever wanna check the MFD in person id love to show ya. give u a head start on how to use the thing. but yeh talk soon

thanks buddy ahahha yeh i took the risk for posting on SAU that others might give it a shot. but yeh glad to help. if your down in melbourne or need a hand with anything just shoot us a PM. but yeh here are some more pics i defiantly think its worth it, considering that prop less then 10 GTTs would have the same thing set up, and that the MFD isnt defectable and can read almost any type of gauge you buy. plus its just looks awsome. also acts as a TV and a output for a DVD player. for wat i picked it up for......its gold i dont quite understand wat u mean for aftermarket sensors though?

wen u say r33 wheels....are u talking about factory wheels? because they are absolute shit
