  1. what cam gears are you using... i got caught out when me and my tuner were adjusting mine.. i bought some of the generic "180 dollar forum sponsor" items and was trying to retard my exhaust cam and wondering why power was going down hill in a big way... after some pondering, and a quick check on the HKS website which has that pic posted above, the A and the R markings on the cam gears were the wrong way around!! so yeah.. just watch that
  2. they must mean the steering arm knuckle which is a cast part of the hub arrangement.
  3. Jeff does Power FC's also Simon P is very knowledgeable when it comes to tuning, and he does the lot except for microtechs as he refuses to touch them
  4. Mike C's pics are up, have a browse, theres a bit of everything in there. Click HERE i love this one
  5. Some pics of when i picked it up.
  6. richo's car is on my front lawn, so it isnt coming along yet
  7. spot of drifting ey common bent items are LCA, Castor rods and Upper control arm. if you hit it real hard, then the list is as mentioned above
  8. whats wrong with gates belts? i would personally use nissan or the gates performance belts (only 5 bucks more then the nissan one) never had any belt issues really.
  9. of course they do! very competitive price wise too. richo: i believe they are doing someything about the tyres, not not removing them altogether...
  10. Get the Rims through Jesse Streeter who is a regular importer of parts on NS.com... his email is [email protected] He got my XD9's for me, and by the time i paid shipping via EMS (got them 3 days after he sent them) it cost around 1700 landed. tell him what other rims your after and he will get you prices. His reputation is A1 and will not rip you off.
  11. i drive my car all the time. why should i fork out trailer hire plus something to tow it with... its crap. anyway i didnt get hassled, and the ceffy only got a cop shop defect cause it did have bald tyres... pretty silly leaving the track with baldies on... i always make sure i have legal tread to drive home on.
  12. he says he already has the cams... in which case it works out ok. i paid 100 for a pair of cams also. which is reasonable.
  13. looks great man i was keen to see the outcome of your GTR but by the time i got there you'd already picked it up
  14. how do you figure that? 330 for the regrind 170 for gears say 200 in dyno time that still works out cheaper then a set of poncams `
  15. my car has great traction, and its a drift car, and its got coilovers, etc etc, and it has 280 rwkw. the secret is... in the set up and tyres, I have set my camber arms up, played with the subframe angle and the traction arms, i run a reasonable quality 235/45/17 and i can take off in 1st, have a little wheel spin, change to 2nd at a moderate pace (read not slamming cause it WILL light up) floor 2nd, 3rd and 4th and it will not break traction... even while cornering on a sweeping bend i am able to wind out 3rd and pull 4th without the car getting unbalanced or unstuck. I'd like to see how many cars here do that
  16. i run a 25 with 25 loom and 32 ecu... the wiring side of things is not overly hard and takes around 2 hours to do it properly, thats everything and wipers hooked correctly so everything works. I much prefer this rather then swapping everything over to rb20shit
  17. way to ruin a thread madaz....
  18. theres no question og doubt bikes require bigger balls. bet lets see you hold a slide in one
  19. prob, hayden and i will be there working on our cars most of the day.
  20. haha yeah the weird thing is i feel safer drifting at high speed then i do sitting at 160 on the highway/drag strip thats sore sure... no idea how to explain that. update on car: pretty much all finished! just gotta primer it for the weekend (wont be painted sadly)
  21. thanks guys... thats 4th gear btw... its got decent power to smoke the bags at 4th at that kind of speed (150 ish kph)
  22. depends on the level of sponsorship man. if its an all out sponsor then we'd prob import a fully set up track car from japan. burt if its a medium level i'll keep my car and develop it some more. yeah all type have a trader, and a car trailer... call them and discuss your needs man
  23. i'll be there driving! super trucks and GT3's will also be a ball to watch!`
  24. heres a good vid and heres a crash vid! Rest of the vids can be seen HERE
  25. yup spot on. one bloke in a 32, JUST bought a GTR bonnet, grill, bar, reo and guards for his GTST and fitted them all on, 2 days lator he was wating at the lights or something and this lady in a VT wagon just decided to floor it in reverse to try and go down a side street.... the tow bar distroyed the bar, reo, cooler and and lot of other shit! morons!
