  3. some of the ones ive seen failed have been street driven. not tracked... you gotta remember bumps and pot holes introduce all sorts of stresses to through the wheels and the rest of the car if the quality isnt there to start with then its only a matter of time before fatigue sets in and they fail. they are made of a low grade cast alloy.

There is no reason why this couldn't be a street driven car... i drove it around for 3 months every day as my daily but i got sick of the bucket seat. If i had a stock seat i prob would have kept driving it in comfort -Lots of time and effort has gone into the suspension set up in it, its a highly competitive car on the track, but regardless, its well set up to have fun, just hop in and drive it! -Dont be put off by the fact that this car has been driven hard, its built tough and tuned even tougher! Call my Tuner Jeff from The Speed Lab if you have any tune related questions. -All stickers will be off the car except for the All Type Crash stickers. -I dont have any current pics of it with the GTR bar yet, just the old Vertex bar. Thats about it, im sure ive forgotten shit but most of its there, Massive thanks to the people who have helped out with this car! I will consider swaps. After a 34 4 door with mods, if you think you have something suitable pm me. Price is Negotiable. I am after 18K as the car is atm, However In the next few weeks i will take the turbo off and put a good condition RB25 stock turbo on, which will then be retuned to get the 220 rwkw i was on before the turbo upgrade. I would take $15K for the car with stock turbo, 220 rwkw, a generic 3 inch jap exhaust, some other 17 inch wheels (not the XD9's) and stock cams and cam gears. Pm me to work out a deal!

  8. After a stock RB25 turbocharger either series 1 or 2, Must be in good condition so no smoke, no noises and so on. Im in SA, so would prefer local seller, but i dont mind paying shipping for an interstate item if the price is right. PM me Cheers Simon

  11. if its a locker, you dont need LSD oil. any diff oil will do. strange that it blew tho... i would suggest that whoever reassembled it didnt do all the bolts up tight and after a few clutch dumps its just left go
  12. Might be worth calling Jeff from The Speed Lab and put forward your request to him. He is an awesome tuner when it comes to RB motors. Plus i know theres a few other tassies who want work done by him so the trip could be justifiable. Jeff's number is in my sig, he is based in SA.

  16. ven a faulty o2 sensor wont give that bad economy. either you have a fuel leak or your on the boost all the time
  17. +1 for filling through the shifter hole. I use a pair of needle nose plyers with the points bent inwards as circlip plyars for all nissans boxes... its lasted me 5 years so far and counting provided you know exactly how much to fill the box. you cant go wrong!
  18. its one of the easiest swaps around. the 25 engine loom will not plug and play tho.. but you onl;y need to wire up a few wires and your on your way.

Adelaide Radial Tyre do it all as well, Salad (showza) works there part time and he;s somewhat of a suspension expert Matt and the boys know what they are doing also. as for traction rods, start with making them 5mm longer then stock arms, then put them inyourself. its a bitch to adjust when doing a wheel alignment (requires rear wheels to be off) so start with 5mm and align the car and leave it at that for a while, get used to the car at that.
