  1. Wet prac session http://vimeo.com/12725506
  2. quick little vid of my deliberate 360 on the straight after doing my extreme entry run. hahaha had hell fun and kept it pinned in 3rd and 4th around the whole track VID and heres some pics my team mates got for me. Trip to winton started off like this... X2... blew out the tyre then chucked spare on and that blew out also. limped it 25k's to keith and then managed to buy a second hand tyre the right size and for a decent price too! half hour later and we were moving again. then we hit the (wet) track... i went pretty hard straight away, as you do, it was when ity got patchy that it f**ked me right up.. that was gay as aids as it was dry on the straight and the first judged corner but mid corner/apex it turned into a mudslick... made it for very eventful final prac session and qualifying laps. pass rides were fun... my mates loved it. but 40 each was a rip for the limited time they got. Qualified 5th... got a bye. was loving that but i needed a run on a dry track being an interstater and all.. first battle was with ferds. nailed the first run. he made a mistake which i didnt know about and i made a mistake going too hard on the follow lap. was a re run. then on the lead lap i couldnt downchange from 4th to 3rd as the box wouldnt let at all. tried like 3 times and at that point i was too wide, and went in the mud. knew straight away that i'd lost the whole battle unless ferds stuffed up his lead run. no chance of that but i went hard and stuck as close and possible.. was an awesome run and at a few points it was damn close haha after the losee i was kinda dejected... but you get that. thats comps for ya. got back into the spirit of things with team drift with robbo and Nathan, and we formulated a plan before hand and it worked out and we nailed two pretty awesome runs... we won the team drift but yeah we shoulda come up with a better name... for the record the name was picked ON the startline about 15 seconds before we left lol. some other random shots.
  3. al nissan subframes have same bush size
  4. with no diff, around 100-150 bucks.
  5. no i did not reuse the brown caps.. i just put the new injectors in with new orings and away i go injectors are now handling 330 rwkw with ease... plenty head room left. I got mine through a guy on the ford turbo forums. 420 delivered thro a trader.
  6. there is a point... and that is to maximise the handling available... thats why you'd upgrade to a s14 cradle. get bushes made by a machinist and its not so expensive after all.
  7. S14's don't have hicas in the same way 32's do so lock bar no use
  8. they are diff mounts yes.
  9. 6 mounts??? lol i think your confused buddy only 4 mounts on subframe to body
  10. has nothing to do with the diff. the mounts where it bolts to the chassis are different. look up iposted the offset style bushes required to make it fit. its no harder then normal. just need the offset bushes
  11. no its NOT a direct fit you need those OFFSET bushes made up. then it will be a direct fit
  12. yeah i saw the zilvia build up. if i recall he had to chop it down a bit cause it wouldnt refit in his car.
  13. if there was i'd be worried diff movement is conatined within the mounts. fact is the mounts on your diff where the bolts pass thro will break before the subframe flexes from diff.
  14. nice but bit of a waste of time as theres NO flex in those directions of the steel tubes at all
  15. hmmmm could do that. be nice if there was a 10cent option from the use of a resistor
  16. i have a strange problem when my car is first driven, the clutch and feel normal. there is freeplay at the top of the peddle point and engagement is where it should be, around the middle or just below. however when it gets warm, or a few laps on it starts to change and peddle looses its free play and engagement point gets up higher a bit. peddle doesnt feel as nice to use and im worried theres pressure on the pressure plate all the time. ive found that if i crack the 8mm bleed nipple on the master then it releaves a bit of pressure and then all is perfect again... until i let the car sit for a few hours then it does it again. suggestions?
  17. Neo R34 RB25 in a S14. been running for a while and i wired in a 10K resisitor to the tacho line but that didnt seem to do much as tacho reads bigher then it should. never worried about it but i'd like to get it reading correctly now. so..what should i do? change the resistor to a higher value? suggestions would be great. cheers
  18. not a single issue! til i got home and off the trailer. motor was cold by then and i stalled it and it refused to start... turns out it flooded it and all plugs were dripping with fuel. might need to touch up the cold start and low temp side of the map a bit.
  19. if you use your car for daily duties ith lap cutting here and there then no it wont be. if you push your car and use it on the track then for sure you'll notice a world of improvement up to you to weigh it up
  20. u still need a backing plate if u wanna run your current diff in a s14 cradle tho...
  21. yup and some of these made up. thats the difference between 32 and s14 bolt spacing.
  22. i have an s14, hence the bolt in s14 subframe. the diff doesnt matter, neither does turbo or non turbo. as they are all interchangeable. you can fit your current 32 diff in a s14 subframe by using a s14 backing plate. in fact i have a 4.3 R200 diff from a 32 in my car currently.
