  2. excessive is filling a 2L catch can after a few laps of a track with oil.. simple as that haha. i got a question tho.. does hitting the limiter have an affect on blow by at all?
  3. someone didnt follow the workshop manual very well the cams have dowels on them. these are to line up to the timing marks on the backing plate when crank is at TDC. its really as simple as that... yet so many ppl f**k it up
  4. and another vid from prac session. wasnt smoking em hard til later in the session... kinda needed to conserve tyres hahah http://vimeo.com/13266003
  5. hmmm must be due to the whiteline bar.. mine is a cusco one and still has heaps of clearance. either way. spacing it down is the answer and wont affect the operation of the bar either.
  6. hmmmm... about 7-8 years now...shiiiit thats too long and too much cash haha. i have a fond spot for my blue NA 86... nothing liking holding it pinned flaty out at 9000 rpm and just throwing it in hard... had 12 deg neg camber front with mega stiff susp... wasnt ultra competitive but damn it was fun! best highlight would be battling Shinji Minowa in my 32 4 door at dec 07 drift nats at calder park for 1st and 2nd place (i came 2nd) to drive against a jap driver and have a re run and only just lose and yet learn so much about driving was an amazing experiance.. i also took hom 6K prize money that was mindblowing. this s14 has been a mixed bunch of emotions.... enjoyable car but damn its very hard to pull off consitant runs due to it being so knife edge
  7. no gains over straight e85.. just less reliance on larger fuel sys and moisture absorbing. either way... car is awesome... BAKES tyres hard now hahaha. came 1st in state comp today
  8. interesting problem... can you take a pic that shows the whole bar installed mine doesnt come anywhere near any chassis parts
  9. nah.. no need. Worp3D: nice to see someone can do maths still
  10. 360 rwkw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fark the car is insane now... running 50/50 mix of fuel and its just nuts. can run an extra 15 degrees timing at full load and the low down torque and response is awesome! power was made on 16 psi too.. where as before it was running 19-20 psi and made less power.
  11. update: RB25 NEO - Internally stock except for Type B pon cams 600cc inj Nistune FMIC 044 pump 3076R turbo with AM Performance manifold 44mm Tial gate Fuel is 50/50 mix of E85/bp98 Boost 16 psi 358 rwkw fuel is insane... was making 315 rwkw on 1.4 bar with petrol before... got bigger gate and then changed to fuel mix and can put in an extra 15 degrees of timing in at FULL load... awesome!
  12. wow im popular haha theres 4 bolts behind the hub you have to undo.. once the driveshaft is out and all the brake and other crap is off and those bolts are out then the hub will seperate from the knuckle.. some CRC/WD40 and a large soft touch hammer will help in a big way since its most likely a little rusted in there and its a mega tight fit. have fun
