  1. you'll benifit from raising the 32 frame for sure you'll defo benifit from fitting a s14 frame and then raising that... you'd have very little problems with lack of traction and car would handle a lot better. not a straight forward swap tho.. need to make spacers that are offset as the bolt spacing is 10mm diff each side.
  2. you will benifit from it thats for sure. at that ride height all your rear arms are going to be at wack angles.. would be good to bring then back to where they should be.
  3. the diff angles are slightly different when compared to the older s13 era frames. this is one of many changes that nissan made to the s14/33 and upward frames. the best thing you could do to your 32 or s13 to get more traction woul be to fit a newer subframe to it.
  4. so basically derlin, or same product but different name, its harder then alliminium but also more brittle. either way... will transfer just as much NVH and do the job just the same. hell you can use anything. the whole gain is from raising the subframe and using a stiffer bush. I have a mate who has gont the right tight arsed option and cut the top off the stock nissan bushes til its flush with frame and then welded a flat steel washer to the frame and the steel crush tube. effectivly locking it. then bolting it all back up. works just as well. but too dodgy for my liking haha
  5. because its an outdated theory. From s14/r33 onwards the cradles have anti squat built into the subframes via pinion angle change. 30edR32 looks ok. whats the material used? not a fan of the designs where its just a straight through hole. i like the ones that i had made and designed with a mate (i might be biased) because it retains the step washer that nissan use. as well as the front plates.
  6. cradle lockers sill have the rubber to act as a vibration absorber. trust me fit solid alloy bushes and you'll feel everything haha. Yeah seen Nigles subframe.. IMO way over the top and not needed but he likes to tinker so more power to him. Pineapples dont do anything when fitted on the base of the subframe..not sure why they even recommend it.
  7. the idea is to have no gap between the subframe and the body. so no bush protruding from the top
  8. you would have to modify some noltec bushes to suit a raised frame... bit of work but doable for sure
  9. after some extensive testing yesterday i can say this is the most awesome mod done to my susp yet.... so much better to drive now!! and no i wouldnt recommend it for a street car... the NVH levels go through the roof. It is possible however to raise the subframe but not go the alloy bush route.
  10. i use E10/100 ron and i certainly rate it. its about 1.20 a L most days and ive tuned my car to suit the fuel. awesome torque gains from few degrees extra timing.
  11. depends on what your end power goals are... the .63 does 300 rwkw no worries at all.. has all the responce in the world. i love it! dont need to rev the shit out of it to get power u can just ride the fat torque band in the midrange.
  12. full boost at 3400 rpm. .63 rear housing using 100 ron fuel. and yeah the poncams retain the VCT.. is sweet!
  13. bullf**kingshit they are a junk tyre... the only thing they do well at is lasting forever on the A to B trip
  14. been around for a while now... i run them every now and then in my drift car. with 310 rwkw and aggressive boost and torque curve it doesnt wheel spin in any gear in a straight line... pretty grippy tyre! they also work well from cold and dont require much heat to get them performing.
  15. it does depend on the ramp rate they use
  16. does anyone else have experience with tial gates? i have one of their 38mm gates and the exit flange is smaller then in inlet, and neither of them measure up at 38mm... whats the go there?
  17. Yeah I'll be there mate. Just got retune with poncams and now makes 330 rwkw and near 600 nm torque!!! Goes well lol
  18. sell em and get some nice jap 18's
  19. shit.... im currently making 330 rwkw at 6500 rpm... going over that see's the AFR's skyrocket. time for a new pump
  20. No they aren't a semi slick. Just the tread pattern looks a bit like one. They are about 160 for a 235/45/17 or 200 for an 18
  21. adrenalins are almost twice the price of KU's but not as good. why would u
  22. how much power can a 040 support? my car is running out of fuel at 7000 rpm on the dyno... adding more fuel in the injector table isnt solving it. injectors are 6X600cc injectors and running pump fuel. im not near the limits of the injectors IMO.
