dont buy an r32 for 8k man, thats just ridiculous. buy something cheap to maintain, and keep saving till you get to at least 11-13k..... an 8k r32 might end up costing upwards of 2-3k to fix..... dont be impatient either, ive made that mistake twice.

ive stayed in lorne, and skenes creek, and both are very nice lorne oviously has more tourists, but its a nice place to stay, ive stayed at the caravan park on the left, just before you hit the main street, very nice in there, cabins are good. and ive stayed at the cumberland hotel on the main street (the orangey looking building). very nice in there also. in skenes creek i stayed in a self serviced cabin, up in the hills. pretty good excep it was on a dirt rd in the hill, so my old r32 didnt like that very much. out of those id say skenes creek, just because its more quiet, and its close to apollo bay. lorne has more shopping etc, but theres way more people down there. the drive to each of those places is absolutley sensational, as im sure everyone in here will agree. goodluck and enjoy your time cheers jarryd

pretty sure with imports that you have to take the car to them, and its extra in price. from memory anyways. and they know f**k all as well. take it to a person who specialises in imports.

in summary: IT IS ILLEGAL!!!

lol how is it legal when you have a pod and a FMIC? it only takes 2 seconds to open a very suss looking carbon fibre airbox, and then, hey presto, a pod filter. you will get dicked again, so why bother?

Well, last nite, at 7:30, my baby left my possession. It was time to move on, it wasnt practical anymore, couldnt take anymore than two people with me, and its hard for an elderly family member to get in and out of the thing. i loved every minute of owning it, and yes, i also hated it sometimes, i even gave it the nickname of EMO-032. it wasnt a bad car, it was just, well, a whinger. lol i didnt really have a chance to properly say goodbye to it, as last nite before the new owner came to pick it up, i had a phone call to say my grandmother had passed away. not a great nite, i must say. i hope the new owner takes care of it, and im sure he will. im looking forward to seeing it on the road, with someone who can enjoy as much as i did, and possibly even more. as for my plans, well, i thought about buying a new hilux turbo diesel, but alas, i cannot afford the 30k+ price tag, even with the staff discount lol so, ive been considering my options, and i am now in the market for a Stagea, preferably an S2 with dual sunroofs. here are some of the photos i took last nite before it left, sorry for shit quality, was on my phone. cheers jarryd

well, he asked for help, and we gave him some answers. then he becomes a smartass because i dont own an r34 gtt, therefore i know nothing about his car. if he doesnt want help, he should post. i could have ignored the topic, but i didnt, i chose to give him some help. ill admit, i dont own an r34, and yes, i dont know much about them, but i do know, that the airbox can be modified in some sort of way. and i know its illegal to have a pod and a FMIC /end rant

im 22 lol cheapest by like 1k almost ive had quotes ranging from 1700-2000 so im rather happy, and i will be definatly be taking out a premium with these guys excellent service too, btw. very helpful, and was quite enthusiastic when i mentioned it was a stagea.

ok, so you get your "custom omg carbon fibre" cops dont see that u have a pod, but u get defected anyways for other shit, and then they find out that u have a pod. what do u do? and how doesnt the airbox clear the cooler piping? and just becoz u have custom cooler pipes, that doesnt mean they will look past you having a pod. its either one or the other. can u modify a stock airbox to fit?

Just got an anwesome quote for a 1998 S2 stagea through custom car insurance, its like a sub-division of GIO i got a quote for $969.00, or $85 a month i actually swore on the phone to him, to make sure its real. so give them a call if your interested, 1300 651 229. and they said they cover modifications, but need to be legal of course hope that helps cheers jarryd
