yeah, any time as long as its not exam time pretty much. which is now and november/december. having a saturday or a weekend thing on i doubt would be a problem for most, as im sure everyone does things other than study every weekend!

i'll definitely be giving her something, no matter what. the amount of time and engery she has put into this without knowing anything about the club, let alone skylines... i was only trying to help the club advance, by getting her help.

A further email from my friend: Hi Sarah, I've just gotten off the skylines website and had a read about what the guys had to say about the logo. I am willing to 'donate' the logo under some conditions. This is only to protect the integrity of the logo and make sure it is used as supplied and intended. (Sorry it's a designer thing!) I guess the conditions are that as long as the time I am spending on the logo and other material doesn't get out of hand: i.e. too many opinions lead to too many changes etc! So maybe if you can leave it up to a few representatives of the club to decide, we won't run into any problems. If there are any funds however little that can go towards the logo and the time spent / compensation that would be great. If not, I'm sure that something can be arranged. Skylines Australia seems like a great club / forum for all its members and suppliers. Have the club ever asked the businesses that are advertising banners/ads on the website to contribute to sponsorship etc. I think that that may be a good way to generate funds for further SAU causes. As they the website has probably generated extra business for them. Anyway, let me know what you think. M let me know what you all think. Sarah.

i read my friends email as $200 for the final logo. i dont know what it works out to for up until now etc. if you guys dont want to even consider using anything shes done or seeing her other ideas, let me know and i'll say thanks anyway.

so what do you reckon? should i ask about the other ideas my friend has or just leave it as is?

hi everyone, i got a reply from my friend who has been working on a logo for us, this is what she sent me: Hi Sarah, hope your well! Attached to this email is a pdf file containing variations for one logo concept. It contains the following: 1. Black and White options 2. Colour options 3. Car Sticker and Illustration style Originally I was going to give you 2 or 3 options, but I thought we might present them one step at a time. From experience, more than one option can make it difficult to make a decision on which is best! So show the guys and see what they think. If they don't find it suitable I'll present another option. Here are the minor costs for the project. 1. One final logo $200.00 2. Artwork for Car Sticker additional 3. Artwork for Cap additional Don't get scared by the additionals!! This is only if they want something really different or anything extra than what you have mentioned. Once the final logo has been chosen, I will supply it as a jpeg format so it can be used on the website. Here are a couple of things that I can suggest be used for the logo: 1. Update the look and feel of the website to reflect new logo 2. Business Cards / Stationary for SAU staff and to be used for official business purposes 3. Membership cards for each member with login and password details 4. Newsletters / html email to members informing on events etc All the above items are designs that I can provide you with at an additional cost.
