  1. You havent thought of doing it yourself?
  2. My advice would be full exhaust from the turbo back a higher flowing panel filter or pod whichever you prefer (if you do go the pod route you need to rig up some form of CAI) and a bleed valve. wind it up to 10psi and enjoy that! Chris
  3. Bit hard to compare a 15 year old car to a car that is pushing 7 years old. If you lined both up totally stock id have my money on the R34. Maybe if they were both off the showroom floor it would be a different story but thats never gonna happen. Chris
  4. spotted a burgandy R33 with a front mount heading along samsonvale road towards strathpine. Looked very tidy. Chris
  5. They dont all come with active LSD's it was an option and from my understanding it was an option for all R33's. Ive seen 95 models with active LSD's in them. To answer your question its only minor cosmetic differences. A new front bar bonnet headlights etc. Interior trim is updated along with dual air bags standard. Motor only has minor differences to it but the turbo uses a nylon compressor wheel instead of a steel wheel. Exhaust wheel is still the ceramic type. Hope this helps Cheers Chris
  6. I checked last night and it was offically called the prince GTB -4. Cheers Chris
  7. When it happened in mine after I put my front mount on the car puffed out a big cloud of black smoke and struggled to idle. It gave me a scare as it had never happened to me before. Popped the bonnet and found the hot pipe had come off. Cheers Chris
  8. Ill see if Ican scan a pic up it was at a GTR festival or something. I saw the pic in a HPI mag a couple of years back. Cheers Chris
  9. yep I 3rd cooler pipes. Can give you a bit of a scare the first time it happens. Chris
  10. What sort of FMIC kit did you buy? If its a blitz or ARC you should do it yourself. Chris
  11. xenon headlights. Interior trim is differs slightly. Im sure there a many topics on this site that will help you with your question. Cheers Chris
  12. Exactly. The exhaust wheel will let go long before the compressor wheel packs it in. Chris
  13. Wrong there was a 32 four door GTR except its was badged a Prince GT-B Chris
  14. Ernie from Skyline Imports built that and yeah it was a feature car of HPI some years ago. Chris
  15. Yeah I agree its not downgrading its still going to cost the same to run as your current car maybe even more if your planning on buying a modified one... Food for thought. 4 door is still more practical than 2 as well. Chris
  16. I wasnt asking the question champ simply answering it. Chris
  17. If its a 97 model there is no reason why it shouldnt have the series 2 motor in it regardless of if it has been converted from auto to manual. But an easy check for me is the AFM check the sticker on it. If its pink its a series 2. Chris
  18. I realise they tend to delaminate from the shaft when the temps get up but with a safe tune I dont understand why you couldnt run 12psi through it with all the support systems? Series 2 R33's have nylon compressor wheels too champ. Cheers Chris
  19. Why wont the standard turbo last long if its tuned properly?
  20. Looks like I better get my finger out and buy one.
  21. As I said when I had a full exhaust and pod filter 10psi was fine had no dramas with it whatsoever. I wouldnt go any higher than that on the stock cooler though as there not very good at scrubbing the heat especially as we are getting into the hotter period of the year. I would leave your boost as is till you get an exhaust. Cheers Chris
  22. Probably a shagged LSD. Only way to tell is get your mate to do another burnout in front of the school to see if it leaves 2 black lines or 1. Seriously mate I read your posts from time to time and you ask valid questions as thats why we are here to expand our knowledge on a common interest but really you do spoil your question by posting the rest eg. "doing a burnout in front of school" you will loose alot of credit for your question with a remark like that and people tend to focus on negatives than positives (its human nature) You also realise the police frequent car forums and will catch up with you and your mates eventually. Just try and think before typing. Cheers Chris
  23. I ran 10psi on mine it was stock bar a turbo back and pod filter had no dramas whatsoever. Chris
  24. This argument is getting pretty week. In my opinion there both good as there SKYLINES! Chris
  25. That looks hawt!!
